types of thyroid meds
I have been looking at types of thyroid medications, and wonder if anybody has used desiccated thyroid instead of levothyroxine? I will be seeing my endocrinologist tomorrow and suspect they will put me on medication. When I had my biopsy, the nurse told me she has good news and bad news, the good news

Follow up call with Endocrinologist
This week I have a follow up call with my endocrinologist, I only see them when they want to see me so I'm very anxious to make sure I don't miss anything. Last time I saw them was the first time I saw them, they asked if I felt better from my symptoms of graves with the medication, I told them I did

T4 in Levo v T4 in NDT
Taking NDT I have often wondered how long the T4 in NDT starts to work and how. In Levo everyone states six weeks before it starts to work. Does anyone have a clue it could be interesting but I cannot find any information on it.

Putting on weight
I have under thyroid and have posted a few questions so sorry for another one. Do any if you find if you put on the slightest but of weight it triggers you to go more underactive? For example at Xmas like most people I put on a bit of weight then I feel I go underactive and then put on more weight.

Anyone out there in south Essex recently had NDT removed by their endocrinologist
I'd like to contact anyone else in the same area and situation as myself as I have recently had my NHS Armour prescription removedly a new endocrinologist. Please pm me if you're in this boat. I need T3 and it seems I may get Levo + Lio - anyone taking this instead of NDT with success? I am so scared

NDT Thiland
Hi, I’ve been taking armour thyroid for 9 months or so now. I’m now up to 2.5 grains and the private clinic I use don’t think I’m at my optimal dose yet. I feel a lot better but the problem is that it’s very expensive. Dose anyone have any advice about getting NDT from Thailand and what brand. Thanks

Stopping Block and Replace
After 8 long years I have decided to try stopping BR ( 5mg. Carbimazole and 75 mcg. Levo ) to check for remission. Just come back from GP appoint. that unexpectedly went well ( usually try and avoid them for thyroid issues) I chose a GP trainer hoping he might know a bit more about AITD. Receptionist

Armour Thyroid produced exclusively in USA?
I spoke with Roseway clinic in London who said they get their Armour Thyroid from Canada. I thought it was exclusively manufactured in USA. I came across a Canadian pharmacy called Forest who say they supply Armour Thyroid. Is it identical to Armour Thyroid from USA? Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Oestrogen levels
I know this is a menopause question but I can’t find the answer on other forums. I have underactive thyroid and having tests to see if symptoms are thyroid or hrt/menopause The test for Oestrogen level shows 337 range refers to follicle/luteal phase which isn’t relevant as it’s def menopause Is 337
