Thyroid Nodules and Low Ferritin Connection
Has anyone successfully eliminated thyroid nodules by elevating ferritin levels? I believe there is a significant connection between the two (found some studies also). I do not have any health issues (except low ferritin and thyroid nodules) but I am curious about how many of you have observed this relationship

Graves Disease
Hi, I have just been diagnosed with Graves Disease/hyperthyroidism and been prescribed Carbimazole. Can anybody tell me if they've had any side effects? I'm concerned about taking them because I have a holistic approach to everything, I can't remember the last time I took pharmaceuticals. I've read that

Small dose of levothyroxine - good or bad?
I had thyroiditis many years ago. Since then, my dose of levothyroxine (and for a while NDT) has varied. However, it has never been a high dose (I don't have any record of it going over 100mcg/day), it has been as low as 25mcg/day, but settled at just 37.5mcg/day (driven by me, based on combination of

T3 affecting sex hormones
Hi, I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid earlier this year. I am currently taking 25mg T4 (50mg caused significant bloating) and 30mg T3 as split doses. I'm on a high dose of adrenal support as my Cortisol & DHEA were shown to be very low in a Dutch test earlier this year. Since starting T3

Beauty cosmetics harming thyroid
Hi all, have you ever heard the fact that beauty products can often harm our thyroid functions? Or am I the only one who just found out? I came across this app (not sure if I can put it’s name here but contact me if you’d like to know, or let me know and I’ll add it here) which you can use to scan your

goitre scan
A couple of years ago I had a goitre that was obstructing my breathing at night. I was sent for a scan but missed my appointment. It has since I presume got smaller as my breathing is now fine thanks to some T3. I just wondered if it would still be nessasary to get a scan to check for nodules etc.

Hi, everyone. I am more anxious than I have ever been and for two huge reasons. Firstly, I have this gnawing pain in my neck, more on the right and while I have had thyroid nodules for a while, this pain in new and I am so worried. I do not have a visible goitre and the size of the nodules have not changed

Every thyroid symptom and no result?
Hi I have been struggling with every thyroid symptom in the book - especially extreme cold hands and feet and a terrible metabolism. I was on a very small amount of T3 for some years and recently came off due to the Unipharma brand not being produced any more and that even on the T3 I still have all

changing from Armour to levo
Hi all I take armour thyroid and have done for over 10 yrs now. I was originally prescribed this by a private doctor but further down the rd I found a way to buy Armour myself so I self medicate. I test my levels regularly (probably every 4-6 months) and I’ve felt in a good place for years. That’s

Views wanted on results for poor T4 converter
Hello. Just reaching out to see if there are others with the same symptoms as me. I have had hypothyroidism for about 26 years. I couldn't tolerate thyroxine and tried several brands for years. I was eventually told I didn't need any meds so had a terrible time of it. My NHS doc eventually restarted

advice, thoughts please, feeling rather desperate?!
hi I only got one response to my recent post which was so kind but no feedback so am trying again as I’m a bit stumped. I’d hoped going on NDT would relieve fibro symptoms and generally help me feel better, and give me more energy, but despite latest test results I don’t feel that much different. Certainly
