We started with
Mirapex
, which was suppose to help with the dyskenesia. I was still having a lot of movement so we began to back off this med.

I'm seeing my neuro in March and am thinking of talking with him about stopping Mirapex. I only take .25 3X day along with Stalivo.
I am not sure the
Mirapex
is helping and I think it is causing dry mouth and problems sleeping. Has anyone stopped taking it and were there withdrawal problems? Has anyone replaced it with something more tolerable?

Hydrocodone Caugh Medicine.
I usually take .25mg of
Mirapex
with 75% success. During this time of taking the caugh medicine I never had one episode of RLS and did not take the
Mirapex
at any point for two weeks. Does anyone use Hydrocodone for RLS, what doses and results? God Bless all.

Does anybody get the RLS symptoms all over you body and not just in the legs or sometimes not in the legs at all but everywhere else instead
Since I had the surgery I have been taking
Mirapex
.5 mg. that worked ok for a couple of months. Now, I am getting the "all over the body" RLS. I can't lay still in the bed on some nights and it's driving me crazy!

Can I take more Mirapex? I have been on the same dose for about 3 years.
I have taken 1 mg of
Mirapex
and 100 mg of Tramadol tonight and I am absolutely getting no relief. I am having RLS almost 24 hours a day now. I can hardly get this typed because my whole body is soooo stressed and I cannot be still.

MIRAPEX
In fact I consume less than what I ever did but it seems that
Mirapex
has some sort of agent that slows down the metabolism. I wonder if there's something out there that would boost my metabolism. OR perhaps there is something new to replace
Mirapex
. I welcome your thoughts. Merci - Bella

After trying various medication( mirapexin, chlomazepam, carbamazepine) my doctor has put me on cocodomol (2x30mg tabs at bedtime).
This is hit and miss with my restless legs (which I also get in my arms) and also I am finding it difficult to get to sleep generally. As you know this then has a knock on effect with my RLS .My doctor is very helpful and sympathetic but I dread going back to him again. Can anyone suggest something

It's a real miracle! I can't believe I'm not having to take drugs anymore for RLS.
This is my story...I am 63 years old and have suffered with RLS all my adult life. At the age of 40 (1990) my restless legs were so bad, awake every night walking a marathon, I went to my GP who prescribed many different drugs including Clonazapam. Nothing ever worked so I went to see a private Neurologist

Hi, has anybody been offered mirapex, which is given to Parkinsons sufferers.?
Mirapex
is used in Parkinsons disease as patients are low on dopamine. So my question is has anyone been offered a Parkinsons medication and how are you managing the side effects e.g. nausea?

Hi all, I have been taking Mirapexin 0.0088mg tabs for the last 6 or 7 years. I take 3 in the evening an hour apart.
I have found them fairly helpful but for the past few months they are noticeably not as effective. When I eventually sleep, I wake several times and have to walk around the house. No chance of a lay in ! Plus, my evenings are starting to be uncomfortable again. This is not every night but I suppose

can anyone tell me the difference between RLS and Involuntary Limb Movement Disorder?
I have been told since my teenage years that I have RLS and it has gotten progressively worse over the years (I'm now 60) I posted recently about my nightmare experience of Mirapexin and luckily I have a very patient GiP who has given me all possible help to conquer the resulting depression. I am now
