Milk thistle

However I just began reading about milk thistle and liked everything I read, I asked my wife to pick me up some and she comes home from Mother's food shop (a natural food store here in California) with a bottle of pills (silly me thought it would actually be in a white liquid milk form) I have a bottle

When I asked my GP he was reluctant and said he cannot comment as both propolis and milk thistle has not been medically proven nor backed up by the medical board. Also these products bought from health shops also contain other additives and are not therefore pure products.

I used it regularly for about a month(for Rosacea)and had a great result. Then I got lazy about using it and my skin became troublesome again so Im back taking it. Just wondered if anyone else had good results.

I have been taking 2000 mg of milk thistle a day for the last 8 years it helps and so does Yogi brand tea made for healthy liver function it has dandillion in it whixh is also a good for the liver I drink 2 cups a day. I have already been through the round of interferon treatment.

Have read on here about turmeric before but is anyone using milk thistle and if so, have they got what they think any more positive results.
