Change from metoject MTX injections to methofill?
Hi I collected a repeat prescription for my MTX injections yesterday and instead of the
Metoject
auto injectors I had before, I was given Methofill which the pharmacist says is a new brand. (Presumably cheaper.)

Switching over to Metoject Pens
I switched over to
Metoject
prefilled pens 20mg from tablets this week and injected for be first time Thursday. On Friday everything I ate tasted funny, all the things I would usually like had an earth like taste! Has anyone else found this? Could it be due to the injections?

Metoject + Common Colds
Here's the question: I've been on
metoject
for about a month now, and just last week I had a checkup to correct the dosage. At that time my rheumy warned me to not take
metoject
if I fall ill at any point, and with that we parted till June.

Purple rash/blotches
Stopped taking the tabs and started with the
metoject
pen instead but now the thought of doing the jabs is making me feel as sick as I felt with the tabs. I can't stand it any longer. I'd rather be in pain than feel sick. I don't want to take anything.

Dizziness??
They then put me on
metoject
, I'm also on 5mg folic acid per day. I was slightly dizzy after the tablets last week, this week I'm now feeling worse with the injection.. Should I give it time for my body to adjust? Has this happened to anyone else on methotrexate? Would appreciate advice

RA not under control yet...anyone else?
Now using
Metoject
. Symptoms have snowballed over the year with not much respite. Feel so worn down by it now and finlly had to be off work sick these past few weeks after months of trying to hold on. Cons wants to add hydroxy in but bit reluctant though think I may need to go with it now.

Big pharma? No, big mix up at the GP and pharmacy supplier...

Metoject
is finally in my hands. Delayed dose or missed dose. Possibly contributed to flare recently quelled.

Hi I've recently started having my Methotrexate dose via
Metoject
pen after approx 10 years of taking the tabs, which I stopped due to nausea. I've had several jabs at my Rheumatology clinic and all fine bar a bit of nausea and upset stomach once or twice.

Is it time for biologics & will I get them?
I have been on 20mg oral Methotrexate since May this year, changingto
metoject
10 days ago as I wasn’t tolerating oral very well. plus had 3 steroid injections to get me through, ie our Australian Adventure, plus our normal holidays.
