Seeing the endocrinologist soon for thyroid and B12 problems
I was getting worse and worse until I started supplementing 1000mg sublingual
methylcobalamin
+ a B complex supplement on 2nd July. This had an immediate effect in reducing and eradicating some of the worst symptoms and I have made slow, steady progress to date.

Please help me figure this out
Fast forward to 6 weeks ago I decided to try taking zinc for some eczema on my hands, which actually worked great and cleared up completely. 2 weeks ago I figured it was possible that I wasn't absorbing B12 properly so I took 1000mcg cyanocobalamin 3 days in a row then swapped to
methylcobalamin
same

Vitamin B12 test results - Advice needed (again!) please
I had my B12 tested this week which is: Serum vitamin B12 - 224 ng/L (180 - 900 ng/L ) The doctor has marked it as normal. I have already bought jarrow methyl b12 5000 mcg. My question is how much should I take to bring the levels up - And what level should I be aiming for? Many thanks in advance

Methylcobalamin
I have tried taking methyl cobalamin for the past 4 days and I feel awful. Depressed ,sleepy & can't function. The funny thing is the tingling in my hands and feet have improved somewhat & I can walk upstairs easier. I can't continue with these though as they make me feel I'll. I will go back to my hydroxo

Degenerative neurological conditions are where
methylcobalamin
shows its greatest benefits over other cobalamin preparations. Brilliant news for MS’ers! Not only has
Methylcobalamin
been shown to work in neurologic diseases, it also helps with the elimination of toxic substances in the body.

Sat night riddle with B12 vits....
I have read on a recent reply to someone else's post that "if your B12 is too low, you need to supplement 5000 mcg sublingual
methylcobalamin
daily for a couple of months, then reduce to 1000." Mine is low, so I went out and bought some B12 vits from Holland and Barrett.

Where can I get Methyl?
My doctor is no longer able to obtain
Methylcobalamin
. I was totally symptom free for 4.5 years injecting Methyl every other day, but now with only being able to get hydroxo my symptoms are returning. I don't want to be ill again I will have no quality of life.

B12 through the nose...
I happen to become very interested in injectable B12 recently. I've never given myself an injection but feel I can bit the bullet. I usually check out leads from this site for getting B12 ( not the cyano stuff though). The prices just seem to be too pricey for my wallet. I'm thinking of getting capsule
