New to B12 deficiency - what next?
Now I’m a month on from injections, been taking b12 supplements (firstly took cyanocobalamin 100-200mcg daily but switched to
methylcobalamin
spray about a week ago- 500mcg daily) alongside a multi-vitamin and folate supplement (400mcg) every other day.

Help! Does hydroxo hurt more than methyl to inject?
I previously injected
methylcobalamin
I got in a pick of 3. It was very expensive but I just wanted to get used to it with all the instructions, right needles etc. It was super easy and didn’t even sting as much as at the doctor.

Serum aluminum accumulation with Cyano B12 Injections
What are drawbacks of

Issues with Methyl B12?
After a lot of physical and mental health (anxiety, panic) issues over the years I started to get my b12 checked monthly with my usual bloodwork. Picking up where I left off
So, before COVID-19 kicked off in a big way I had some blood tests for my thyroid that revealed v low B12 levels. I've been supplementing on my doctor's advice since, and took his recommended dose of cyanocobalamin (I think 75 mcg) daily for 1 month. The plan was that I'd come off it and then re-test

B12 & FOLATE LEVELS & INJECTION QUESTIONS
I am nearly ready to start and will be injecting with
methylcobalamin
. My questions are: 1) Do you think it would be worth getting my active B12 levels checked before I start? I have only ever had my total B12 levels checked.

Anyone tried Cytoplan B12?
I've got some Cytoplan B12 which says it's 500ug of
methylcobalamin
and 500ug of adenosylcobalamin. Does anyone know if this is as effective as 100%
methylcobalamin
? It's certainly a better price but not if it's not as effective! Any info please. Thanks.

High serum b12, high MMA and low transcobalamin
Most recently I’ve been getting
methylcobalamin
and folate injections every couple of months. A year ago my homocysteine level was 12 and I started looking for other tests that could indicate what was wrong.

Monthly B12 injections
You need to take the active form of B12
Methylcobalamin
, which is reserved for the private sector. No NHS doctor will cough up this information. They may go as far as giving you the inactive form, Hydroxycobalamin, which will not work on many people. I would welcome any opinions on this please?

Injecting adenosylcobalamin
Hi Interested to chat with those who have tried hydroxocobalamin and added adenosylcobalamin or changed to both
methylcobalamin
and adenosylcobalamin. Curious about possible issues with processing hydroxocobalamin.

Is it B12 deficiency
Hi I would like some advice about B12 deficiency. In October 2018 my B12 was 267. My doctor said this was okay so I didn’t supplement but then I started getting more symptoms of dizziness, severe dry eyes at night, 3 episodes of double vision and dizziness especially when standing up from bending over

Cynocobalamine/Methylcobalamin injections
Hi Everyone, I read many a times here and there online that
Methylcobalamin
injections are better than cynocobalamine injections when dealing with neurological healing. Is it true, if so , should I switch from cyno to methyl for faster healing?

Back on Methyl B12 and Methyl Folate
I had gone off of these supplements for a while, frustrated that they were not healing my peripheral neuropathy fast enough. Going back on them now, I didn’t realize just how effective they were being. Laying here (bed bound now), I’ve been back on mega doses of methylb12/folate for a week now. Suddenly

Medichecks results, any advice please?
Hi all. I did a Medichecks ultravit test but I messed up on one sample so only given thyroid and B12 results (below). They sent me a replacement but my fingers are refusing to bleed :( so can't get the vit test done yet. I would really appreciate any advice on what my results show so far though. I

Spray 500mcg, how much?
Hello again Until I can manage to get my injections, I have bought a
methylcobalamin
spray 500mcg per spray. It states one spray a day but do you think I should do more? Or does anybody recommend a better way to get B12 into my system? (I know injecting is best but can't do it just now).
