Hi all. I am very new to this platform but so grateful to have a place to ask some difficult questions to people who may understand. I have just started humira after reacting badly to mabthera. I have also previously been on methotrexate, azaoress, nivaquin abd high dose steroids to name a few. I have

Looking for alternatives with BTK C481 resistant CLL
Looking for alternatives. I have had 3 prior treatments from FCR to other chemo to Veneclax and Imbrutnib which was working great until my counts went up again. Turns out I have developed a BTK mutation. Been seeking out trials and wanted to try loxo-305 (Pirtobrutinib) but it was all filled up and they

First Appointment re Stem Cell Transplant
This week I have my first appointment with a stem cell transplant specialist. I haven't made up my mind yet and I'm seeing this as a fact finding appointment. I've made a list of questions to ask: What exactly does it involve, step by step? What can go wrong? And if something goes wrong, what is the

Hyaluronic Acid and CLL
I have been using a Revitalift over the counter face serum that is 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid sold as a treatment for wrinkles and aging skin. I seem to remember somewhere that there is a tie to CLL. Does anyone have any info on this? TIA

Husband Update
It seems like so long since I’ve updated, but it’s been only a few months. Husband is doing… ok. We’ve just received news that they've found a donor for his stem cell transplant and is scheduled to be admitted at the end of next month. It’s all become very, very real. The kids and I won’t be able

Jakavi
I started Jakavi treatment some months ago as I was progressing from PV to myelofibrosis. I had immediate relief from itching but it seems to have returned. Enlsrged spleen, haematocrit down, platelets low and white cells not well controlled. What now?

Functional Consequences of Mutations in Myeloproliferative Neoplasms
« Of great interest, a set of epigenetic mutations can co-exist with the phenotypic driver mutations in 35%–40% of MPNs. These epigenetic mutations, such as TET2, EZH2, ASXL1, or DNMT3A mutations, promote clonal hematopoiesis and increased fitness of aged hematopoietic stem cells in both clonal hematopoiesis

Getting frustrated with the delay approval of ropeg In the US
Sometimes I can't help to think if enough is being done for MPN sufferers. According to multiple research ropeg has shown superiority over hydroxyurea with Ultimate possible significant molecular response in a selective number of MNP patients. So why there's a delay in getting access

Someone please answer this
My sister was diagnosed in October with cml after she said she needed some blood work done from feeling unwell. She has developed a mutation that is resistant to most treatments. She is going down hill. Someone please answer my question. 1 year prior to her Lukiema she randomly had both retinas detached

Three and a half years with Mantle cell lymphoma
I got diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma in March 2018 when I was 61. As it had already spread from my lymph nodes to multiple organs I was immediately admitted to hospital and began six rounds of Nordic protocol chemotherapy, followed by a stem cell bone marrow transplant. After my transplant I had
