How can I ease the pain please? Hands - stiffness, hypermobility, bruising, overly react to temperature.
Every finger joint yells at me and thats having taken
Lyrica
, Amytriptyline and Tegretol - plus two co-dydramol when this happens. I even wear arthritis gloves. I have told you what my mornings are like. If anyone else has experienced anything like this, how do you deal?

HAS ANYONE COME OFF OF PREGABALIN, TO GO ON GABAPENTIN, OR VISA VERSA? DID BOTH MEDS WORK THE SAME, OR WAS ONE BETTER THAN THE OTHER?
At least, I know now, that
Lyrica
(Pregabalin) was doing something for me. I'll try going on the other one, but if it is not effective, then I will go back on
Lyrica
(despite it costing the surgery more)

Does anyone have constant muscle cramping and spasms with bad circulation ?
I have been having alot of trouble with my neurologist in helping me find out what is causing the problem... all they want to do is give me higher dosage of my current medication (on both cymbalta and
lyrica
highest dosage) or change the pain pills( on baclofen and percocet), so feed up with how they

New meds and so dizzy!!!!!!
Hi all I have been taking
Lyrica
for a couple of weeks, were awful side effects at first, but seem to have settled down. Not doing it for all the pain though so Doc prescribed slow release Tramadol. Have had ordinary Tramadol before and got on Ok, but the dizziness and brain fog are awful.

What do I do if my Dr thinks I have Fibromyalgia, but the CFS/ME clinic who were extremely rubbish just say that it's anxiety disorder - which it isn't
He increased my dose of
Lyrica
and prescribed Amitryptaline (?) for the sleep problem (So it's been about a year on these now).

Recently diagnosed in June. Been reading posts here for a little while now and am glad to say I have joined for the support.
I am on
Lyrica
for nerve pain in my neck, I don't know if it helps the RA or not. I was put on Tramadol, an anti- flaminatory (can't spell) but it messes up my stomach big time. I hate all of this and I am finding myself depressed. Gaining weight and unhappy from that too!

Exercise and diet to help - not helping so far!
I'm on 50mg Amitriptyline and 40mg Citalopram, I was also on 200mg of
Lyrica
(pregabalin) but have recently come off the
Lyrica
due to an increase in weight and no real positive effect on my symptoms.

Just a little info I have on my facebook related to Fibro
Gabapentin (Neurontin) is sometimes helpful in reducing fibromyalgia symptoms, while pregabalin (
Lyrica
) was the first drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat fibromyalgia.

Lots of other problems any ideas?
Can all these be connected to my meds ( Mirtazapine, dihydrocodeine, lansoprazole, newly started after bloods -
Lyrica
). I am also really suffering with my hands, I have swollen hands, not fingers, my fingers going cold even in a warm house, then I have red burning on fire hands, and pain in them.
