Lurasidone

She was put on Lurasidone as a result of paranoia and they have recently upped her dose to the maximum they can give her. I feel both her paranoia and her physical symptoms have gotten worse since the increase.

It happened with Ampyra and with lurasidone (a drug for bipolar disorder that was prescribed to me off label for depression). So if a new drug hits me like a ton of bricks, it doesn't mean that it will happen to you.

NRx’s multi-patented NRX-101 (Cyclurad) combines two FDA-approved pharmaceuticals: the tuberculosis drug D-cycloserine and the anti-infective drug lurasidone. It is meant to be taken orally at home.

😅 I had been taking 30mg of Remeron (Mirtazapine) and started at 20mg of Latuda (lurasidone HCL). I decreased Remeron from 45 to 30 with no problems to decrease the impact on my digestive system problems. Then, increasing Latuda to 40mg and decreasing to 15mg of Remeron to help me sleep.

I am going to be taking lurasidone, which is fairly new and Cat. B, so I can nurse after pregnancy as well, God willing. Anyway, just wanted to bring all you lovely ladies up to speed!! God bless!
