(6 mo) March 2019: PSA 1.05 Dr said wait until PSA gets up to 4 for next shot (intermittent) September 2019: PSA 1.97 March 2020: PSA 10.43 Got next Lupron shot June 2020: PSA 4.27 Sept 2020: PSA 12.14 Dr says take another 6 month ADT shot (Lupron shortage- maybe Eligard), then check PSA in March

First therapy: Docetaxel with Lupron, then just Lupron for 1 year, 4months. Then added Abiraterone for 8 months. Currently stopping Abiraterone and I am having EBRT on femur. In three weeks I begin Radium 223.

My father underwent 5 rounds of SABR alongside a 4-month injection of Lupron. He finished his last radiation treatment on Feb 18th. The last three days he has been experiencing a lot of gas and diarrhea. I messaged the radiation oncologist and he suggested Imodium and the BRAT diet.

Not newly diagnosed but need to post this: I am on my 3rd round of hormone treatments - lupron 24 months, Casodex 9 months and now 9 months Eligard. Psa rising, now 1.16, doubled in 6 months. What next I don't know. Started with Gleason 9 aggressive Cancer.

I was told both of the times when Eligard was used that it was due to a nationwide Lupron shortage, hence the use of Eligard. Both of my Lupron injections were in the upper rear and both Eligard injections were in the abdomen.

While it is a good thing my PSA is at a such low level and constant, I don’t want to play “ Russian Roulette” with cancer, so I have elected to start 40 sessions of radiation and lupron injections. My urination has returned to no leakage so that should help with radiation side effects.

I had chemo, lupron, and cassodex, until PSA suddenly spiked last year. I understood it to mean cassodex was having reverse effect. After scans showed tumors growing in prostate, started on Zytiga, with lupron.

Now my psa is undetectable but I have severe ed and typical shrinkage my question is how long is the lupron going to affect me and will I come "back" as it were. I bought some dhea with horn goat weed and yohimbe. Will that jeopardize my recovery?

My dad is on lupron and Zytiga ( prednisone) and now Xgeva which I guess is a monthly shot - is it normal to have to get blood work monthly before the Xgeva and is that ever able to be given every few months rather than monthly ? Thank you!

When my accomplished, senior urologist at Loyola wanted to put me on Lupron and I refused, he then suggested that perhaps I could find DES in Southeast Asia since it 'was' a very effective ADT hormone prior to 1985 when it was replaced by Leuproelin injections.

Up to last time it was Lupron. Last injection was end of Nov and I complained about side effects - especially fatigue, leg weakness and especially the hot flashes. They switched formula to TREISTAR (triplorelin).

Been on Lupron and Zytiga/Prednisone for 2 years, a recent visit at Dana Farber, my doc said - to go on ADT vacation!

When Lupron was approved, estrogen therapy was therefore replaced by hormone therapy with Lupron. However, menopausal women treat hot flashes and bone loss with estrogens, knowing this has cardiovascular risks. Therefore estrogen patches and estrogen gels have been developed.

I am currently on 3-month Lupron injections and 4 daily Enzalutamide tablets a day. My PSA has reduced to 0.14, as of this last week's blood tests, which is good news. I'm also prescribed Apixaban for the Deep Vein Thrombosis.

I had Firmagon May 2018 and Lupron since. One side is small and hard but the other is larger and softer. Has anyone experienced this?

Before xtandi I was on Lupron and it was still working, not sure why he put me on Xtandi. Questions: My back is really sore and pelvic joints are too.... Normal? I would love to get some energy back and would take the risk - T levels are so very low... Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks...

Started ADT immediately biclutamide 2 weeks followed lupron monthly injection . November psa 2.4. Then xtandi added and started radiation . Little over halfway through igrt psa 0.06ng. So glad to have found some guys to relate to, God bless all of you! One day at a time
