Update on LDN
A while back I posted that I would be trying
low
-
dose
naltrexone
and would report the results. Here is an update after one month of LDN. I began taking 1.1mg of LDN in addition to my regular dose of prednisone. I had just tapered slowly to 12 1/2mg, taking 5mg at 2 AM.

Naltrexone treatment for fibro pain?
My old pain doctor recently retired and I have seen a new one. Unfortunately, she won't continue my low dose hydrocodone/acetaminophen. She wanted to put me on Nalrexone which is for treatment of opioid addiction. It is also found to treat other things including fibromyalgia. What the doc failed to mention

I am posting this in the hope that it helps in forming your own response and if you agree with some of them, including them in your own response might help them pay more attention to them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is anyone taking naltrexone?
Hello, I had surgery six days ago and thought this might be useful for anyone else to know: Right before I went into the operating theatre, the anaesthetist was going over my chart and said to me “Are you taking this?” (naltrexone). I had actually ran out a few days before my surgery, which he said

Nausea & Buprenorphine
As some of you will have seen from my earlier posts I had succeeded in blocking RLS (after DA augmentation 7 months ago) by use of buprenorphine patches and tablets but have had to take action against some very severe nausea which appears with both tablets & patches.I also experienced a similar nausea

Be careful about quality of medications
Hi all, In the 'wild west' UK I just want to caution everyone about checking where their medication comes from. In the past I've posted about getting clopidogrel with many, many additives from a pharma brand with many court findings against them for quality. I managed to get my GP to specify a

How effective is fenofibrate for itch?
My doctor suggested a few different drugs, like rifampricin, naltrexone, and fenofibrate for my itch. He prescribed fenofibrate as he thinks it works best. Does anyone here take it and if so, has it helped? I'm worried about the warnings it comes with about severe liver damage.

Results and Advice Please
I also take LDN (
low
dose
naltrexone
) 4.5 mcg. I used to be on high doses (100-125 mcg of levo) and 15 mcg of T3 felt terrible on this - migraines and always felt hypo. I don't think I convert T4 very well.

I am currently on
