Do Nerve Blocker's work ?
Having had lung cancer and a
Lobectomy
I was worried at the thought of cancer of my spine. Then the hospital decided that it wasn't lung cancer but Osteoporosis. As they made an error for 15 month's with my lung cancer and I don't trust any of the medic's apart from my lovely Thoracic Consultant.

Sorry if I'm rambling but does anybody know how long it would be for spine cancer to show up after a
Lobectomy
? One Radiographer said that I had cancer at the 2 fracture's and then our hospital 's Radiographer said no it was Osteoporosis.

Two and a half weeks post upper right lobectomy.
Hello all, I’m finding lack of pain control in the middle of the night is preventing me from getting a full night’s sleep. I’m fine during the day although the stiffness in my back and side is always present. I’m gradually increasing the amount of walking and activity at home. I take rests when I need

Neurological problems related to lung cancer
I had a
lobectomy
about a month ago, and has this has not improved the Neurological problems. I have been told that this is a autoimmune response but had no investigations into this hypothesis. My Neurologist prefers to "watch and wait" which is frustrating.

Lung infections after Lobectomy?
Hi all. Reading what you are all going through makes me feel a bit dubious about posting here again. I have had the most amazing support from people on this forum particularly from Loimie and Zac and want to say thank you so much for helping me through since I was first diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma

Post Vats lobectomy
Hi just wondering if anybody had a similar experience- I had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago and am recovering well. I had 3 incisions of which one had 3 stitches and has healed well. The one where my drain was had only 1 stitch which was removed along with the drain the next day and this one is not knitting

It's back...again
I don't want them to stop treatment because hes already had a
lobectomy
and the aforementioned treatment :( He keeps pretty well - he's 67, still works full time as a plasterer and does fine. I honestly believe he's no further than 1 on the ECOG scale.

More aggressive options for Stage 1 cancer post lobectomy.
(non smoker) 1 week ago had a
lobectomy
to remove it. (and yes love coughing right now...) Although still waiting on official staging it should be 1a. Tumour was adenocarcinoma (80% lepedic 20% acinar) no detection of it spreading anywhere else.

Surgery this week
I met my consultant this week and he has booked me in for a VATS
lobectomy
on Thursday. Shocked at the speed this has all happened but extremely grateful. Naturally feeling anxious and worried about pain post surgery. Can anybody give me the benefit of their similar experience.
