Liothyronine meds
Does anyone know what the current situation is about getting these meds back on NHS in UK? Or is it staying as privately prescribed? Surely the cost of all the other meds for cholesterol blood pressure mental health pain pcos etc etc etc is more!

My endo can't challenge the GMMMG over a liothyronine trial.
I asked my endo if he would help me to appeal to the GMMMG and he can't/won't so I need to work out how to get it myself. Can anyone help please?

Please send PM on where to safely buy T3 Liothyronine online (EU/EØS country) without a prescription.
I am current in a good process with increasing my fT3 level together with a private doctor. He can't give me a prescription due to temporary legal constraints. It goes very well - my fT3 is at 6,3, most of my symptoms has vanished, so I believe I'm near my goal. The prescription, I used for my current

Liothyronine

Paradigm shifts in thyroid hormone replacement therapies for hypothyroidism - Nature Reviews Endocrinology
Disappointing results with combination therapy could be related to use of inappropriate levothyroxine and
liothyronine
doses, resulting in abnormal serum free T4:free T3 ratios.

Lower blood pressure on Thybon Liothyronine
I started taking thybon (
Liothyronine
from Germany) a couple of months ago and have felt well on it. Had my blood pressure checked yesterday and it had dropped down to 118/84 which is absolutely amazingly good for me, never been known since it was tested.

Looks like I'm on my own again :-(
As you have benefitted from neither a higher dose of Levothyroxine nor a combination of both Levothyroxine and
Liothyronine
, and indeed are worse with the combination treatment, you should revert to your original dose of Levothyroxine of 75 ug daily.

Can I increase T3?
I am on 75mcg Levo and 5mcg
Liothyronine
per day. I have put on 10lb in weight over the last year, have a lot of aches and pains right hip, right shoulder, migraine, dry skin, my energy becomes depleted so quickly, I have no strength at all in my muscles.

New diagnosis found. Probable secondary hypothyroidism. Partial hypopituitarism. Normal Pituitary MRI. ? second opinion. Further tests?
He said I was planning to purchase
Liothyronine
from Europe. He can’t suggest any other treatment. I saw named GP this week. He didn’t understand when I mentioned hypopituitarism he said I’d need a private consultant app to get T3 prescription.

Help interpreting bloods please! Taking T3, I thought TSH would go down if anything?
Why would the
liothyronine
make my T4 go down? I was hoping that my endo would agree to increase my
liothyronine
when I see him next, perhaps adding an afternoon dose because at the moment I take 10mcg in the morning and the small benefit I feel has worn off by around lunchtime.

Tiromel LIOTHYRONINE SODIUM and/or natural desiccated thyroid hormone?
The Turkish supplier of Tiromel
LIOTHYRONINE
SODIUM has sold out. I would be so grateful for some advice from a trusted source. Also wondered if taking the natural desiccated thyroid hormone might help instead as it has both T4 and T3? What if my GP won't prescribe it? Where could I go?

Discontinued Liothyronine?
This Wednesday my GP has decided to stop issuing prescriptions for my
liothyronine
because the CCG tell them they have to, despite the fact that I remain consultant led & he advises that I continue to receive the Lio.

Self medicating T3 - GPs and NHS blood tests
I know NHS blood tests rarely include T3 results, even when GP's request this the lab ignore the request if they consider the TSH and T4 to be in range, however if I declare that I am actually taking
Liothyronine
will they have to test T3??? thanks
