Associations between osteoporosis and drug exposure: a post-marketing study of the World Health Organization pharmacovigilance database
It is difficult to separate out the effects of inadequate thyroid hormone, excess thyroid hormone (whether exogenous or endogenous) and optimal thyroid hormone, especially when we consider
liothyronine
(T3) as well as levothyroxine (T4).

Use of thyroid hormones in hypothyroid and euthyroid patients: a 2020 THESIS questionnaire survey of members of the Hellenic Endo Society
We have often discussed Greece and their use of T3 (*
liothyronine
) - moist especially due to the very reasonable price of their own T3 product from Uni-Pharma. For that reason, I half-expected an article regarding thyroid treatment in Greece to see T3 rather more visible than in the UK.

UK drug companies fined £260m for inflating prices for NHS
First thing to note - this covers hydrocortisone - NOT
liothyronine
. However, the basis of de-branding, at least superficially, is extremely close to the
liothyronine
issues. Whilst £260 million is a lot of money - the NHS was over-paying by up to £80 million each year.

Who gets T3 prescribed in Rotherham or Sheffield area, if anyone?
If you don't want to be named but do get
liothyronine
prescribed, please let me know below. Alternatively, if you have been refused
liothyronine
in these areas, we need to know that too. Do get involved in this. The more local Healthwatch's we can get involved in this, the better.

Endocrinologist and Liothyronine
Hello I live in Dorset and wondered if anyone could message me the name of an Endocrinologist that may be prepared to prescribe T3.

IS LIOTHYRONINE and THYBON 20 HENNING the same prescription?
Like many people I was removed from receiving
Liothyronine
20microgram tablets by NICE and the NHS. My GP wrote a private script, and I was able to source Thybon 20 Henning from Germany. Can I ask the question -is the English drug and the German equivalent drug the same?

Advice on medication timing
I was recently prescribed separate medications for levothyroxine and
liothyronine
around 6 weeks ago. I was told to take 2/3 of my lio in the AM with my Levo. And take the other 1/3 of lio in the evening.

Need help with Liothyronine Dosage Timing
Hi, I used to take my
Liothyronine
(generic for Cytomel) at 6am, 2pm and 10pm. BUT my sleep has been TERRIBLE recently so I want to nix the 10pm dose. I was waking up in the middle of the night multiple times or just flat out waking up for the day at 3 or 4am and being exhausted all day.

TSH supressed
Latest results are: TSH 0.02 (0.35-4.94) T4 12 (9-190) T3 5.98 (2.43 -6.01) I’m on 100mg levothyroxine and 20mg
liothyronine
and have been for 7 years. My GP wants to reduce the levothyroxine but I’m worried sick about that because 2 years ago they changed my dose by typo to 50mg levothyroxine.

Guidance Needed prior thyroid blood testing -on Armour Thyroid (NDT) & Additional T3
My Armour Thyroid reads on the label for 1 x grain (60mg) Levothyroxine 38mcg
Liothyronine
9mcg I’ve read that if you take Levothyroxine that the last dose should be taken 24 hours prior so would this be the same for me with my NDT containing Levothyroxine ?

Panic Attacks due to Difficulty Breathing b/c reduced t3
I had been having issues with sleep so my endo dropped my
liothyronine
by 2.5. Since then, my throat has been tight and I'm having difficulty breathing which is leading to panic attacks. It just occurred to me that it's likely been caused by reducing the medicaiton.

I thought it was thyroid but seems to be calcium deficiency
I should probably increase my
liothyronine
too. Increasing levothyroxine doesn't work for me, I end up over replaced if I increase to 125mcg of levo. Is there any way I can tweak my dose further? I take lio twice a day X 10mcg.

Urine vs blood for B vitamins - anyone understand why one could be high and one low?
I also have no thyroid and am on levothyroxine and
liothyronine
in case that is relevant. My B12 was low before I started supplementing, but it would seem potentially i'm not actually absorbing it properly. Just wondering now what to do about supplementing?

Is my TSH suppressed? Doctor wants to lower my dose :(
I, like many others I believe, was taken off my prescribed dose of 3 x 20 microgram of T3 (
liothyronine
) last year, and put on 1 x 20 microgram of
Liothyronine
and 1 x 75 microgram of thyroxine.

Improvement in ferritin levels but feel even worse.
Then started to add in
liothyronine
. Now up to 15 mcg daily. Last week I had a day when I felt like things were improving. I have had this before on T3. I suddenly had a lot more energy and wanted to get things done instead of forcing myself to do things. It quickly evaporated by the next day.
