Transitioning from one T3 to another

Hi there,

Hope you’re all keeping well.

I’ve been on T3 for 4 years alongside Armour thyroid.

My endo will no longer prescribe more than 5mcg per day and I was previously on 30mcg.

I’m not feeling well so need to take the plunge and source T3 privately. I’m aware of the info in Thyroid UK website in doing via private prescription and chemists -

So my question is did anyone change brands and did it impact on symptoms /dosage ?

I’m currently prescribed Liothyronine sodium (chemist dispenses morning side healthcare )

I was looking to source

Either : Tybon Henning which I believe is Liothyronine hydrochloride ? would that make a difference compared to Liothyronine sodium

Or

T3 Uni-Pharma Liothyronine Sodium (Cytomel)

Any guidance / personal experiences on changing brand would be very much welcomed !

I swapped from Teva to Morningside. Just carried on from one to the other.
