Armour Thyroid
I was taking Armour Thyroid from 2003 to 2016 when I was told I could no longer have it and was given
Liothyronine
but a much lower dose 5mcg x twice a day as opposed to 3 grains of Armour x once a day.

New GP withdraws previous repeat T3 prescription despite DIO2 Inefficient T4 to T3 conversion (confirmed on Genetic testing 2022)
And, turning from the scientific and medical justification to the nationally agreed guidelines, my Endo told my GP that NICE does endorse the supply of
Liothyronine
in primary care, as long as an endocrinologist has recommended it. He has!

TSH 0.02. I feel good. Should I be bovvered?
I take 2.5 grains of Thyroid S and 12.5 self-sourced
Liothyronine
/day, all at once, on waking. My latest NHS results are T3 5.8 ( 4.2 - 6.9) TSH 0.02 ( 0.3-4.8) and T4 10.4 (7.7 - 20.6).

Change in thyroid tests as I taper Prednisone
Honestly can't remember what my Levothyroxine dose was before I was diagnosed however throughout my battle with PMR I was taking 100mcg. and GP added 5mcg
Liothyronine
in 2020 as I apparently wasn't converting my T4.

morningside
hi everyone, can anyone tell me if there is a shortage of Morningside
Liothyronine
20mcg. My usual chemist is out of stock and doesn’t know when it will be back in and I just wondered whether it was just in the South of England.

Recent Pulse article for GPS. 😡
Currently there is a 49-fold variation in prescriptions for
liothyronine
as a proportion of treatment between regions in the UK, it notes. Some areas had banned its use due to dramatic price hikes but more recently
liothyronine
cost has come down.

Difficulty in obtaining Morningside Liothyronine
I have been taking 5mcg of
Liothyronine
twice daily alongside 75mg of Levothyroxine prescribed by my consultant around 4 years ago. ( I have had Hashimotos' disease for almost 40 years)My problem is that I cannot obtain Morningside brand of
Liothyronine
from my usual pharmacies.

response regarding my endocrinologist complaint
After I has seen him , he told my gp to continue my meds on only 50mcg, even though I was to stop t3 ( he actually relished in the fact I would feel really ill as if by way of punishment for daring to think I could possible self administer
liothyronine
without his personal approval, let alone under

Timing and reasons for Thyroid blood tests
Take Monday evening dose levothyroxine as per normal Research into bedtime dosage of levothyroxine https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17201800/
If taking
(T3) or NDT Even if you normally take a single dose T3, on the day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread

More gaslighting with obtaining T3 🙄
"When they put a request in for
liothyronine
it's not specifically stated what kind, so we just get what the distributors have in stock🤔 so it can be generic" 🤔.. So I slip in that Roma don't seem to have a problem at this minute with distribution,..

Does anyone prefer TEVA to ROMA Liothyronine?
For many years I was on Cynomel but after a long time in hospital I was only given T4. When I was back home I spoke to the GP and he prescribed T3 by TEVA which really suited me. Unfortunately this was changed and I was prescribed ROMA instead which made me very tired and altogether didn't suit me

Help with Blood Test Results
Diagnosed in 2015 started on 100mg levothyroxine in May 2015 and in 2016 started 20mg of
liothyronine
with NHS endo but have never felt optimal, always cold, achy, low mood and cannot lose weight, I now have a private apt with Endo mid Novemeber.

Difficulty getting Liothyronine without Acacia
I'm currently having difficulty finding a pharmacy than can source a
Liothyronine
brand that does not contain Acacia, to which I have had a bad reaction recently. The two suitable brands being Roma or SigmaPharm (5mcg). No one can get SigmaPharm and there seems to be no supply of Roma.

T3 trial and latest blood test results
I am now taking 50mcg Levothyroxine and 25mcg
Liothyronine
(the latter split into 2 doses approximately 12 hours apart). Before the trail I was taking 75mcg and 100mcg Levothyroxine on alternate days. My FT4 level has dropped from 10.6 (September 2023) to 6.6pmol/L.
