Anyone taking a biologic like Humira, entyvio, or Lialda or stelara?
I have ulcerative colitis with inflammation of the cecum that may be due to lupus or meds. Not really sure. I’m advised to take something similar to one of the drugs questioned to reduce inflammation. I have ckd 3b and don’t want to make it worse. Trying to determine which is better.

Tired of colitis
After 6 mos. of taking
Lialda
I decided to go off of it but within days I had blood in my stool again so I continued with the
Lialda
for the whole year. I have had no noticeable symptoms of UC for 12 years.

Diverticular disease, IBD or IBS?
Colonoscopy and CT scans show nothing major, GI doc put me on
Lialda
but isn't this for IBD? I also take Levsin and Bentyl but they don't do much. Tylenol and heating pad helps a little. I have a defecography and a sigmoidoscopy scheduled. He suggested maybe SUDD or SCD (segmental colitis).

Mesalamine side effects
I recently have been diagnosed with UC and have been prescribed rowasa (mesalamine enema) and
lialda
(mesalamine oral). Bleeding has reduced however has anyone had issues with white coatings on their stool? Is this normal or should I be concerned?

New and Confused
My primary told me to stop my Crohn's meds (
Lialda
) and Lipitor. I immediately felt better. Bloodwork was done 6 months later and the ALP was 230, GGT 268, AST/ALT stable.

Bad Ulcerative Colitis flare and bladder irritation/urgency! Someone help!
Taking 40mg of Prednisone and my daily
Lialda
pills. My bladder feels like it's under tremendous pressure, which makes me take several trips to the bathroom for a disappointing amount of urine to come out. Has anyone ever had this issue with a UC flare?

I read that feces matter can be used to fight/ cure C-DIFF
I am now on
Lialda
, with folic acid as well as Dexilant. Two of these medications have extremely high co-pays and there is nothing less costly to take. I supplement with probiotics. I still get bouts of the runs and up-chucking bile attacks. Anyone have some helpful cures

I have Colitis & Reflux
I use
Lialda
for the colitis and it stays in check. For the reflux I use Dexilant and I thought this would also remain in check. Recently had surgery for PAD in my legs. Actually just the first leg and I came down with a server case of reflux where by bile would constantly come up.
