HDT- B1 overdose and worsening of symtoms
I still have more tremor, could not sleep, and
Levodopa
/carbidopa does not seem to have the same effect as before. Could be this worsening of symtoms caused by B1?

does dyskinesia go away when people stop taking levodopa?
If no, it indicates that
levodopa
somehow damages the brain

One person’s 10 year journey of taking Levodopa. How the amount has increased, the change in dosing intervals and how they manage it.
This video is a really great honest and open account of someone’s experience in taking
Levodopa
. Well worth viewing for anyone taking the drug or thinking of taking it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AL-86-dZDi4

The fateful "off" moment.
It's as if all the symptoms , which until then had remained compressed inside you thanks to
Levodopa
, as if by magic they come out to shout all their strenght and turn you into a zombie. There is no gradualness. It is necessary to become good strategists of oneself.

DIY Parkinson's Glove Users - How are you adjusting?
My hypothesis is that it is acting as an agonist or amplifying my ER agonists to the point where they are out of balance with
levodopa
. (I'm agonist sensitive, too much hits me with crushing dystonia). Thanks for sharing your experiences! Jack's Mom #glove #vibrotactile

Amantadine questions
I'm on carbidopa/
levodopa
, entacapone and amantadine (100 mg 3x/day). Do you find it causes swelling in the feet, lower legs and hands? If you came off the drug, what was the upside and the downside? How did you come off of it? I understand that you can't quit it abruptly. Thanks for reponses

Mucuna Pruriens
I would like to substitute mucuna pruriens for the Carbidopa
levodopa
. I have 500 mg capsules standardized to 20% L-dopa (not exactly sure what that means). How much
levodopa
is that? My C/L Rx is 10-100 mg, 4 times daily. How many 500mg mucuna capsules do I take as an equivalent?

Parkinson's medications and T3 interactions?
Recently, I was formally diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (informally undiagnosed for years), and now my doctor put me on gradually increasing doses of a
Levodopa
/Carbidopa combo (Dopicar; 250 mg
Levodopa
, 25 mg Carbidopa, manufactured by Teva).

How long off mirapex before moving on?
A friend with infrequent rls says carbidopa
levodopa
works almost instantly when symtoms began. Because I mays go several days without rls, I would rather have a med that I can take as needed rather than taking a med daily when most days I don't need it. Is this too good to be true?

Rasagiline?
I had an appointment with a neurologist who wants me to continue taking Carbidopa-
levodopa
, but also take Rasagiline. The side effects and food interactions list seem onerous and dangerous to me. And, it is rather expensive. I canceled the prescription until I understand this drug better.
