Taking Hydrocortisone with NDT - Timing of Hydrocortisone doses
Currently taking 3 grains of Armour Thyroid at 7am along with 5mg Hydrocortisone. I then take another 5mg Hydrocortisone at 11am. My GP has now increased my daily Hydrocortisone from 10mg to 15mg but has written on the prescription to take 10mg in the morning and 5mg at night. Does anyone else take

Endo letter regarding t3 assessment
I just received a letter from the endocrinologist I saw over two weeks ago. He stated that having spoken to me he felt that some of the remaining symptoms I’m experiencing may be alleviated by by combination T4/T3 therapy. Apparently I have no palpable goitre and am clinically euthyroid. My results

Does the Pill EVER settle down as the Dr's say it will
My GP put me on
Levest
back in January with the instructions to take back to back with a break at 3 months. Initially I struggled with severe cramping and spotting which I'm happy to say have now settled.

Hi everyone, I’ve just received lab results of low dose Dexamethasone suppression test Cortisol morning <0.03 (0.17-0.50) Doc said it is good(???). I guess it means that I don’t have high cortisol. How about low cortisol? I also tested privately vit D result 66 (65-225). A while ago it was 95(50-150)

Cortisol question
I'm taking ACE (adrenal cortex extract) for low cortisol. When I do another saliva test, if it has improved- do we stop the ACE or is it a lifelong supplement like thyroid meds which I'm on Thanks all

Cortisol saliva testing
Sorry if this question has been asked before. What is the best way to decide if you suffer from adrenal fatigue: saliva testing (four times a day), blood, or 24 h urine? I am asking because the Hertoghe doctors in Belgium only use 24 h urine analyses, although I've read that saliva testing is the only

B12D and low cortisol
Hi all, because I've been feeling awful despite weekly SI and supplements, GP tested cortisol First test (8.45 am) was 330 which was below the threshold of 400. Second test (8.30m) has come back as 445 so that is deemed ok. (Sorry don't know the units, this is standard UK measures, I'm told normal is

GP wants to take me off thyroid medication!
Hi, I'm feeling rather low after appointment within GP today. I wanted to speak with them about results from recent test showing low cortisol and DHEA levels (results in recent post) and also whether I should consider increasing current dose of Levothyroxine from 50mg to 75mg as starting to feel unwell

Adrenal cortex for low cortisol and thyroid help
I was told I have low cortisol and would benefit from taking adrenal cortex. I am looking to order Thorne online. Would anyone know how much daily would be beneficial for me so I know how many bottles to order? My cortisol results, 4 point saliva test: CORTISOL 4-point saliva 8am: 7,79 nmol/l 1,90-19,10

Test results - low cortisol and DHEA.
Hi, I've just received cortisol saliva test results from Regenerus, see photo. This shows low cortisol and DHEA levels with comments mentioning established Phase 3 HPA adrenal gland dysfunction. I'm a little surprised about these results, as I did my first saliva test with Medichecks in May and this

Think I am being set up by Dr's.
I don't know if I should be posting this rant under thyroid UK, thoughI have done before. All I know is that following advice from Thyroid UK, and after sourcing T3 and metavive, iron, vitamins, and supplements - I am so much better, and no longer have the symptoms of CFS, although I am extremely depressed

Cortisol and ACTH low? I'm so confused now.
Hi all, I also have Primary Aldosteronism and no thyroid (goitres). I am back on T4 100mgs a day. I am meant to be on 10mcgs T3 also. I do not have any new thyroid hormones tested other than one than these on 14/5/19. I became under medicated because I couldn't raise the T3 I was on and hence back
