Anca vasculitis
I have had this illness about seven years now and am not having infusions now though I do have an injection of methotrexate every week. I live a quite busy life but am always tired as vasculitis gives me chronic fatigue and bad pains in joints. Now apparently a lot of the pain is I'm told arthritis

Hi all , I was feeling a bit wobbly this afternoon and felt like I was having quite a few ectopics so took a reading on my device . The result was ‘ sinus rythm with wide QRS . This is the first time I’ve ever had this result so was wondering if it should concern me . I had my last ablation nearly 2

Verapamil Allergy/Vasculitis
I am so, so devastated. I have been down a long road of medications for my persistent PACs/Bigeminy. They were able to ablate the SVT but couldn't get the PACs. So at the end of a long road of meds, I finally found Verapamil, which actually stopped the PACs, and I was so, so thankful. I was able to

Getting bombarded with ads for RA treatment Honey bee venom cream?.
Amazing too good to be true claims for this but there seems to be a few bits of research on it being anti inflammatory. Anyone tried it ? Still taking the meds....

Had Ablation in '23 lately suffering from frequent PAC's.
Was wondering if any of you fine folks are having or have had bouts of frequent PAC's and what you are doing or what your doctor prescribed to get rid of them. I'm still in sinus rhythm according to my EKG but experiencing PAC's daily. I am currently on no antiarrhythmics and on Metoprolol for rate

Medication (Drug) Treatments for Heart Disorders
Just as there are many different antibiotics to treat different infections, there are several different medications to treat arrhythmias, as all medications affect everyone differently, it is always a good idea to speak with a Medical Professional about which medication is best for you. For further

AF - a wide range of different varieties?
I’m new to the Forum and wonder if my “type” of AF is common. I have several friends who have AF and they all seem to have different types. I am a fit 71 year old - playing sport several times a week. When I have an AF episode I usually can’t feel anything- I only became aware of my AF because of

Reducing bisoprolol
After an ablation in early April I went into symptomatic AF after two days but have since had a successful cardioversion. I remain in NSR and on advice from the arrhythmia nurse have reduced my bisprolol from 5mg to 2.5 mg daily. I'm a week into the lower dose. My heart rate has increased, which doesn't

Lupus rash?
I have suffered many different symptoms for a period approaching 15 years. About 4 years ago my GP said that I had too many symptoms across multiple systems and there was nothing more he could do for me. He referred me to the hospital but I’m still waiting four years down the line. I discussed Lupus

Bisacodyl has been prescribed for me
I’ve been on laxido for constipation for the last two years or so. At first it was ok with very little side effects. However, recently over the last few months I’ve been suffering from bloating, trapped wind and excess gas which are side effects of laxido. I met with my gastroenterologist today and

Change proposed to medication for epilepsy
I have asked for my Tegratol medication for epilepsy to be changed to something else as it interferes with use of simpler blood thinners. I am currently on Tegratol 200mg twice daily, 9mg warfarin and 10 mg Bisoprolol daily. It was also suggested I start on digoxin although my heart rate has not been

Do you or someone you know have Atrial Fibrillation?
Atrial fibrillation is the most common arrhythmia affecting many individuals worldwide. AF can increase the risk of stroke. The irregular heart rhythm causes the blood to pool and this may cause a blood clot to form in the heart chambers which can then be carried to the small blood vessels in the brain

default heart rate when in Afib?
Hi guys Long story short:third ablation failed in May. In between ablations (last 2 years) my afib has been permanent. Ive tried multiple drug combos but the only thing that makes my heart beat normally is an ablation. After latest failed I had a week’s reset after a public hospital cardioversion.

loop recorder
I am being asked by an EP/ cardiologist to have them implant a loop recorder to monitor my heart for an extended period of time. This recorder will be recording continuous EKG readings that is transmitted to the treating cardiologist . It is expected that this will allow for better diagnosis and treatment
