Lacosamide
I have just heard from the neurologist, they are switching the topirimate for
lacosamide
. Two questions- when is the best time of the day to start taking the
lacosamide
? What’s it like to take? Ie what are the most common side effects? Thanks

Weight gain & Acne From Medication??
I take
Lacosamide
to control my seizures. I also take Pregabalin, Zomorph, Amitriptyline and Mirtazapine for my Fibromyalgia and PTSD. My problem is how much weight I have gained (40lbs in 3 months) And have terrible acne on my face particularly my jaw line and neck.

I am being changed from carbamazepine to
lacosamide
. I now have nausea, headache and photosensitivity. Has anyone experience of this and how best to treat it?

Really need you advise on Vimpat Lacosamide medication please.
I saw my Consultant yesterday and he has given me Vimpat
Lacosamide
to take. All he said was it is a new generation drug and would like me to take it along side my other medication. What I'm concerned about are the side effects - Very common - Dizziness, Nausea & Double vision.
