Advice..please x
We don't know what he will be offered next (
keytruda
is a definite no) but I wondered if anyone knows about Nivolumab ( Opdivo) ? ...do you have to have mutations to obtain this drug? Also, no-one has mentioned brain mets to us although it appears to be common. How do they detect these mets?

Were in trouble here ...
So-here we are waiting for Guardant tests to come back for a hope of
Keytruda
, that sounds so promising. New MO absolutely did not want to run the test. But why didn’t we have the option in November when Radium 223 failed? Or before?

Keytruda? Does it work?
I ran across an article stating
Keytruda
was being investigated at the Oregon Health Sciences center for its efficacy in fighting prostate cancer. How old is this idea? Does it work?

Caregiver Scanxiety
We were working through our thoughts and feelings about stopping
Keytruda
, then we were back on the roller coaster of new tumors. He had a wide excision which removed the tumor, fully clean margins, clean PeT scans, healed ok, and we decided to continue with more

One suggestion might be to try
Keytruda
. My dad’s MO is more like a general practitioner and knows very little about new drugs (or much else). Does anyone have a recommendation for a great MO in the Gulf Coast area specifically Pensacola?

Keytruda Joint Pain
I am stage 4 nsclc with mets to bone and have been doing
Keytruda
since December. At first there was mild joint and muscle pain, and I've heard most st people do have that. However my wrists and hands are now almost completely lame. I can barely use them at all without extreme pain.

My father’s medical oncologist Based on his pathology reports and genetic mutations will decide if my father will go on with
Keytruda
or will qualify and get excepted to the trial use of Optiva and Cabozantinib.

Update on my dad, stage IV NSCLC, and Help needed
I know PDL1 isn't always foolproof in who responds to
Keytruda
as I talked to a lady who had a PDL1 of 0 and
Keytruda
worked great for her and then a man who had a PDL1 of 90 and
Keytruda
failed to work for him.

Anyone else have a catastrophic adverse reaction to Keytruda?
Once she’s discharged from the hospital we will talk to her Oncologist to decide the next course of treatment because obviously
Keytruda
is out. Has anyone else here ever had a catastrophic reaction to
Keytruda
? Just curious.
