The clinical trial includes xtandi,
keytruda
and then the trial drug. However, it doesn’t seem the cancer is responding favorably to the trial. He is being given about 2 more months in the trial before they pull him. Then his options will be chemo or radium which will not cure the cancer.

The battle rages on
A few days after Jeff had his first infusion of
Keytruda
, his eye was droopy. I was concerned about additional brain tumors and called oncology. They brought Jeff in the following day for an appointment.
Keytruda
is prone to making muscles weak.

Keytruda Experience - 1st Infusion on 5/24/22
Thought I would post this for those who may be interested in
Keytruda
. After failing Zytiga and being unable to tolerate the side effects of Xtandi, my husband Ed was authorized for
Keytruda
(he has the MSI High biomarker). Here is how the first infusion went.

Scan Anxiety & stress
In 2020 i was in complete metabolic remission after 6 months of
keytruda
. Then treatment stopped due to covid lockdown. Now feel bloated since a few months. No other problem. I feel the cancer has spread to my abdomen. Very stressed but too scared. I cannot sleep. What do I do?

My ex wife father can't get a biopsy nececery to get Keytruda as oxygen levels 87%.
I sugasted liquid biopsy but we are not sure if it is enough to get
Keytruda
in Croatia. We had the idea maybe to get a biopsy from the lung metastasis in an other organ. Unfortunately the doctor don't reply so we are in the dark. What would you suggest in such a situation?

brain radiation, delayed treatments, seizures
They are repeatedly denying medications and his
Keytruda
infusions. My attention was focused on getting the
Keytruda
approved when I realized that his radiation oncology appointment had been scheduled for July.

Keytruda and brain tumors
Keytruda
won’t necessarily help with the cancer in his brain. While
Keytruda
does penetrate the dura more than other various treatments, it’s likely not enough to do much good. Radiation won’t get rid of the tumors in his brain, but should stop them from growing.

Making memories
In the event he does get
Keytruda
next week, it has the propensity to drop these levels. So in lieu of waiting until he was 6.9, they went ahead and ordered the blood transfusion at 7.3. Jeff had a small appetite yesterday morning and felt well enough to go to breakfast.

Guess what?! Guess what?!
Yesterday Jeff had his first
Keytruda
infusion. Pleasant surprise that both
Keytruda
and the flush only takes about 35 minutes. So far, so good. Just hoping it gets in there and starts working magic. As per his labs, his hemoglobin was low AGAIN. He’s having another blood transfusion today.

Keytruda and Now I Need a Healing Remedy for Colitis
Had an appointment for a scheduled
Keytruda
infusion last week. It was to be my last one! Recent PSMA results all point clear, and appears I now join the ranks of the 'Undectables'! Just crazy, and it hasn't fully sunk in yet. Doc went thru the usual questions, how do you feel.

Disheartening news 😞☹️
The doctors speculate this is the case considering Jeff’s current condition and that the
Keytruda
doesn’t appear to be working. Our children and I will be at the hospital tomorrow morning so we’re present for doctor’s (oncology) rounds.

Introductions
I am currently on
Keytruda
(30 months) and am considered "stable" . I don't really want to stop taking
Keytruda
unless it stops working. When I was diagnosed , I could not find ONE person with small cell near me or online and it was scary. I had just turned 41 and had a young daughter to raise.

Keynote 365 Trial Pembroluzimab/Lenvatinib
Hi everybody, this is Marcellus from the Netherlands….I was wondering: I am going to participate in the Keynote 365 Trial, cohort F/G Pembrolizumab (
Keytruda
) combined with Lenvatinib. Are there others who participate or have participated in this specific trial? What is/has been your experience?

Trying one more...
Restarted
Keytruda
in January. Not doing anything unfortunately. We may be able to get into the B1 arm of ONC-392 and
Keytruda
. That’s where we are headed. His 32nd birthday is April 2nd. I am hoping he feels well that day so we can try and not focus on cancer so much..

Just keeps getting worse
Keytruda
should be fine but the Lu-177 could possibly do more harm than good due to its potential to drop RBC (red blood cell) counts even more than what dad has already experienced.

Questions on treatment?
I have also taken ADT along with
Keytruda
for almost three years now. I have been taking Zytiga for about three years now. Just curious what your recommendations would be for me? Seems like it may be worth the try.

Is anyone being treated for colorectal cancer with any success with immunotherapy. My tumour was removed successfully but I have lymph involvement. I know it’s great for shrinking tumour but what about the lymph gland involvement. Any help gratefully received.
