MCAS and LEVOTHYROXINE Nightmare
MCAS AND MEDS MCAS strikes again I can't take tablet or liquid levothyroxine as I've had the worst histamine flare even at 25mcg. Been in bed 4 days now crashing headache, body pains, inflammation, dizziness, fatigue all from 1 tiny dose of 25mcg liquid levothyroxine. What can I do ? I desperately

MCAS Ketotifen
I suffered with long Covid after catching it at 38 weeks pregnant and was later diagnosed with MCAS and put on Ketotifen. I’ve been on it a year and struggle to know if it helps or not as I was diagnosed with PoTS, Hypermobility and underactive thyroid during that time. The latter makes me feel rotten

Serum tryptase blood test
Hi, Can anyone advise me. I had my first immunologist appointment by telephone recently and the consultant wants me to have a serum tryptase blood test. I've had one before after I had a private consultation with Professor Aziz in London and it came back negative. My question is does anyone know if you

Ketotifen Supply UK Q1 2023
Hello all, I was prescribed Ketotifen by a Neurogastroenterologist in late 2022 but have had no joy in getting my prescription dispensed ever since, with pharmacies telling me it is still out of stock in the UK. I'm aware of this site: https://ukmasto.org/ketotifen/ with current ETA as "expected back

Ketotifen supply issue
Hi - I'm Kay and I have indolent systemic mastocytosis. I have just been phoning round pharmacies (without success), looking for Ketotifen 1mg tablets as there seem to be supply problems yet again. I've lost track of how many time this has happened and each time I eat into the small stock I had somehow

Ketotifen and Xolair
Soooo, thought I'd give an update. Had my Xolair injections yesterday (was so stressful getting back to the hospital lol), went well and the specialist nurse was lovely. Minimal wheals today although still a lot of itching, but it is progress! On the asthma front though I think the increase of my Ketotifen

Nalcrom Update
We have been told by Sanofi that Nalcrom will be out of stock until the week commencing November 23, 2020. We have been in touch with the Department of Health and Social Care to inform them of the problem, and indeed they have spoken about it this morning with their team and will contact the pharmacies

Ketotifen update-- August 2020
The licensed ketotifen tablets (Zaditen) should now be available in the UK again. Your pharmacist should contact Alloga directly if they cannot get a supply from their usual wholesalers. The liquid continues to be available only by importing the unlicensed products from elsewhere in Europe. Please

What is EGID?
Eosinophilic (E-o-sin-o-fil-ik) Disorders Information. We encountered the world of EGID via Reflux symptoms initially. My whole family on my Dad's side had always suffered Gastro Oesophogeal Reflux to some extent (myself included) along with plenty of allergies, autoimmune problems and supposed IBS
