His immune system is not in good shape, in fact I believe his white cell counts are too low to do the Jevtana right now. So our focus is to work for him to kick the virus and pull some blood numbers up and then give the Jevtana a shot. Please send good thoughts.

MO ordered JEVTANA . Meanwhile I have just been notified that I possibly am a candidate for Lutitium trial. They have said to cancel the Jevtana infusion which I did. I am BRICA2. Any thoughts about the efficacy of Lutitium over Jevtana

Onco suggests Jevtana and then Pluvicto if needed. I don’t qualify for any research studies using Pluvicto for a variety of reasons.

The side effects of the previous treatment crippled me

Dad just had his 3rd round of jevtana and has developed a cough ( sounds wet) with some increasing irritation in his throat. No fever etc. I know cough can be a side effect but just wondering if others have managed this or is this something more sinister going on?

Started Jevtana in March. Worked for 5 treatments. PSA down to .89. Next tx psa rose to 1.22. Next tx rose to 1.32. Oncologist ordered a bone scan and we discussed Nubeqa. scan indicated multiple mets in spin and ribs and old mets active. I'll see oncologist soon and sure he'll order PMSA scan.

Other options like Pluvicto or Xofigo or Jevtana seems to be too much for him to handle. Thank you in advance for your inputs.

He's on his 31st every 3week chemo regime of Jevtana. Hard to believe we started this war 5 years and 10 months ago! Fighting and fighting. Question: He just tested posiive or Covid yesterday. He's fully vaccinated. Had the bivaliant vaccine on September 8th.

Have decided to continue Jevtana/Carbo chemo despite continually rising PSA, as recent scans did not indicate evidence of disease progression. Treatment #9 coming Aug 25. Switched from Prednisone to Dexamethasone. Had Guardant liquid biopsy Aug 12. Expect report in 1 week. 

Now after 3 years and 16 cycles of Chemotherapy ( 10 Docxetexal and 6 Carboxal (Jevtana) ), Hormone therapy. He is still with us. A month ago after 6 cycles of Lu177 his PSA started rising from 32, his current PSA is 77 with cancer infiltrating his Bone Marrow.

After having treatment #7, my PSA went up to 42 from 18 after #6 three weeks prior. Treatment #8 was put off. Subsequent CT and Whole Body Bone Scans indicate no progression of disease from those 2 1/2 months prior. My MO has reminded me that we can't just rely on PSA alone, which could indicate cancer

Ten months ago after trying Docetaxel, Xtandi and just 2 cycles of Jevtana all since 2019, our oncologist said the only thing left to do was a clinical trial. We were referred to another cancer center that was a NCI center as the clinic we were at was not. A clinical trial was begun last August.

So let's go, Jevtana plus Carboplatin, I need to stick around a while!

Husband just finished Jevtana/carboplatin 8 cycles. Is on Orgovyx. Has daily hyperbaric oxygen treatments for severe radiation cystitis. By the way, after 12 of 40 treatments, he is much improved after 3 months of misery. Gross hematuria, urgency, frequency and pain have all subsided.

There's still Jevtana that we haven't tried. Our MO would rather save that for use after Xofigo. CT scans and bone scans will be scheduled again next week. Just had them in January. Metastatic throughout the entire skeleton but no organ or soft tissue infiltration.

It's noon on Tuesday and I'm taking my Jevtana and Carbo in Maplewood MN. Premeds were "pushed" due to a temporary saline shortage (broader shortage, or very local I don't know) no big deal, the nurse has to work a little harder, and I got just a little woozy from the Benadryl.

He didn't want to go, he didn't want to give up but the disease burden was too great, his bone marrow had failed, we didn't get to try the last treatment which would have been jevtana. He was taken too soon and its not fair, but nothing about cancer is ever fair.

Feb 28, 2022 started Jevtana. Got labs today. WBC 4.1. Had nulasta with Jevtana. All RBCs slightly low. SOB and no stamina. But been that way for a while. PSA was 13.7 on first Jevtana and came down to 6.4! Today’s Jevtana went well and will have another in three weeks. Tolerating well.

After my 1st round PSA dropped over 90% to 4. From then on it has steadily risen, usually doubling after each round. Now, after 7 rounds, I am up to 41.2. I am not happy, and a little less hopeful. Next step will be to have repeat scans within the next week. If no indication of progression, chemo

His primary oncologist said his levels are still very low (Hgb 8.5, platlets 22) he said the only treatment on the table is chemo, jevtana. And Dad would need to be an inpatient for 3 weeks for the infusions so they can monitor his levels give infusions, nutrions, mange side effects etc.
