ICD going off ??
I’ve had an ICD fitted since May 22. Last night was sleeping normally and woke up at about 4am with some chest pain. It only pains when I move my body in certain directions like twisting you back etc and on a scale of 1-10 the pain is probably 3-4…..nothing I can’t ignore and do the normal task. Apart

Merina coil removal
Hi, I'm due to have my Merina Coil removed as it's been in for 5 years but I'm afraid it's going to be very painful. It was put in when I had the laparoscopy so was under GA. Smears are generally super painful with several attempts on different occasions and I'm worried that removing the coil will be

Are MRI with coil and biopsy needed for BCR recurrence in prostate for cryotherapy, HIFU, Tulsa Pro or Brachytherapy?
After posting questions on ADT options for BCR oligometastasis, we have new development/input from RO and MO which makes us delay starting hormone therapy now. We would really appreciate members' input and advice so that we can make informed decision. Brief background, my husband was diagnosed in Dec

Burning pains
Hi everyone 👋 I had a laparoscopy last April and have recently had the Mirena coil removed. I’ve had burning pain in my left leg and under ribs. The same type of pain is also in my stomach and hips near my incision sites. These pains have increased a lot since I had the coil removed. I’m due to have

Feeling deflated and needing some advice. Ivf natural modified cycles
I’m 43 yrs old (just) . Myself and my husband have unexplained fertility and have been trying to conceive for over 4 years. My ovarian reserve is on the lower side. No male fertility issues. We are on a natural modified ivf cycle package. We have had several cycles cancelled before starting stims.

Potential endo and non-hormonal IUD
I got the non-hormonal
IUD
fitted in last year and I love it, it has made my period a tiny bit worse but it has always been bad. When I was talking to my gyno about the referral, it was as if they were pushing me against a lap.

Low heart rate
For the past few weeks my husband has been concerned about his low heart rate averaging at 47bpm. He has a pacemaker and ICD. He takes bisoprolol 2.5mg, Candesartan 32mg and Indapamide 1.5mg. He has been feeling more light headed and dizzy but we put that down to the heat. He has a telephone appointment

How would you make a complaint about your clinic?
I have been an IVF and IUI patient at a well-known private clinic in central London since 2020. Last month, my IUI cycle was abandoned due to the clinic’s negligence and they refuse to admit and try to cover it up. After all those hormone injections and trips to the clinic, they missed my ovulation,

Hormones affecting vaginal dryness
I’m considering going on the copper
IUD
but all I hear are negative things. Clearly there’s downsides to any contraceptive. But just wanted peoples advice or their own personal experiences.
