Hepatitis A Ab positive due to interferon? Should I concern it and how to treat it?
Taking
interferon
0.5ml/week since last mid August, I had blood test recently and found Hepatitis A Ab positive. other issues associated with taking
interferon
include low WBC(2.6 vs. 3.4), low Neutrophils (1.0 vs. 1.4) and high AST (45 vs. 40), ALT(58 vs. 44).

To antivirals or not to antivirals
Do we even know if they clash with the
interferon
or the blood thinners? It will be day 4 tomorrow, so I'll need to act quickly.

Some Interesting Information - Parkin-mediated Mitophagy
UA also led to an overall reduction of some pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as
interferon
gamma (IFN-γ), interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) (Figure 3D). Average baseline levels of these pro-inflammatory cytokines were low in this population.

Platelets up to 1500 since starting PEG interferon
I started on PEG
interferon
after being on hydroxyurea for many years 4 weeks ago. Taking 95mcg every 2 weeks. Feeling pretty worn out, have had aches, pains, flu symptoms so was really expecting that it was working.

Interferon possible side effects
I am currently undergoing tests to rule out other causes but wondering if it may be the
interferon
causing this?

Suggestions to help manage fatigue
I'm now 31 and have been on pegasys
interferon
and warfarin for the last few years, with things generally ticking along OK. The last couple of months however I've been really struggling with fatigue, which has impacted work and meant I've had to take some time off and do reduced hours.

ET Fluctuating Platelets
I was diagnosed with ET in 2011, was on HU then
Interferon
then back on HU for the last 4 years. Since April this year my platelet levels have been fluctuating and my heamatologist does not seem to understand why. My readings are 12/4 452, 19/4 330, 12/5 516, 21/5 208 and 9/6 363.

Novel COVID-19 Vaccine Shows Promise for People with Leukemia and Lymphoma
Tandler said that the induced CD4+ T cells “displayed a desired multifunctional phenotype” that was positive for cytokines such as interleukin 2, tumor necrosis factor, and
interferon
gamma. “This resembles the phenotype after natural infection,” she said.

Recreational drugs
Does anyone use cannabis or other recreational drugs, who has PV and takes rivaroxyban and Pegasys
interferon
? I am curious, but think no point asking my doctor about this as they couldn't answer if it's safe or not.

Haemolytic anaemia
I had a nose around on the web and found that late onset haemolytic anaemia can be caused by
interferon
Alfa after 3-38 months, tho a rare side effect. ( Study was on patients with leukaemia A. Andriani et al) Can anyone shed any light?

Interferon Travel Temps, Freezing Risk?
There have been discussions here of travel with INF. I recently used the ice pack that comes with Besremi in a lunch cooler for my Dr office visit. After that I placed it in my office fridge for the day. I realized a possible hazard to that: if the ice pack were below freezing temp, and the lunch

By 5 years, about 14% of patients have undetectable JAK2 mutations.
« Now with this
interferon
tolerance improved, your abilities improve, response is excellent, and there is a potential for more. I highlighted in my presentation a molecular response. Molecular response is where you are decreasing the JAK2allele burden.

Liver Issues on Inf (Peg) (apologies for long post)
So spoke with my MPN specialist last night about my recent CBC results. The good news is that the 90mcg of Peg (bi-weekly) appears to be doing a good job keeping my blood chemistry in check. Platelets continue their slow downward trend (most recent reading at 574 coming most recently from 725, 643, 595

We have decided to try 135 of
interferon
to see if that makes any difference, all I can do is hope. I was hoping for better results.
