In

, cells produce pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as
interleukin-2 (IL2)
,
interferon
-gamma (IFN-γ), and tumor necrosis factor-beta (TNF-β). In
Th2 immunity
, cells produce antiinflammatory cytokines, such as IL-4, IL-5, IL-6,

I am on
interferon
every two weeks and usually get the flu aches 48 hours after each jab. I am actually due an injection on the start date. I know we don’t need to shield anymore, though I don’t feel very confident about mixing with the public at the moment.

Peg Interferon and flu jab
However, now I’m wondering whether it’s ok to get it with
Interferon
. The leaflet of
Interferon
states that live vaccinations should not be given with the medication and I believe the flu vaccine isn’t live? I haven’t had any tests prior to my appointment which is in 2 days.

Night Sweats
Under the care of Haematologist I have tried Jakafi, HU, and
Interferon
, none of which had any impact on my night sweats. As a last attempt I am trying Clonidine as I had read some supporting information for this drug with night sweats (although mainly for women in menopause).

Can anyone recommend a good haematologist in Ukraine? Specifically, a specialist working with pegylated Interferon-alfa2b?
Ideally, pegylated
interferon
- alfa 2b. Does anyone know a good haematologist in Ukraine who is keen on the most up-to-date treatment options/protocols?
