After 20 imrt txs and 4 months orgovyx will in house bike riding for moderate exercise (hour per night) INCREASE my chances for reoccurrence, mets or advanced prostate cancer ..(62- psma -no mets- ece -20 tx imrt-4 months orgovyx) TIA for all comments and responses..

Had 2nd of 90 days Lupron Feb 1-23 as adjuvant 6-month ADT therapy with my Salvage IMRT. First PSA test yesterday and T level. Undetectable (less than .006 uPSA) and T level of 30. Here's to hoping it stays down.

In 2019 I had 37 fractions of IMRT. First three years i had no issues to speak of concerning bowels. Last year I had a colonoscopy which showed enlarged blood vessels which was causing the occasional blood in my stool.

Even if I were UIR, the mean benefit of HT with RT (it will be IMRT) mean overall survival was only 0.7 years longer with ADT. Distant metastasis was improved.

Husband is 3/4 of the way through an escalated course of IMRT Prostate bed only radiation (plan was for 33 days but they gave larger doses per day and are trying to do it in 20 days). Today (Saturday) we ended up going to the ER because he was having some strange symptoms.

Looks like I'll be soon heading for 6-7 weeks of IMRT salvage radiation. Has anyone been treated or aware if MRI-guided linacs such as the Mridian Viewray offer an advantage over CT-guided ones when it comes to post-op salvage radiation?

Can IMRT radiation help? Can we do radiation now and dont wait till the end of chemo? Is there anything else what can help? Please help me with future steps on this issue. Thanks

I thought 20 tx & 4 mos of Orgovyx from all the docs I talked to secured a pretty good chance of crushing my cancer AND a real good chance of having my T come back to Normal after " 4 mos". " "T " should be back to normal within the same time you were on the drug " that was the wishy

Worked till 2022 when PSMA scan showed lymph nodes, started Zytiga in November 2022 , started with 44 Tomotherapy/IMRT in Feb 2023, My question is how long after all this radiation does he need to continue ADT he’s been on it for 4 1/2 years prior to radiation?

Underwent 4 weeks of standard IMRT with Dr. Ryan Phillips at Mayo in April/May so my ski season ended a little early (or so I though but stopped and hiked and skied Bridger Bowl on the way to Rochester and stopped at Powder River Pass and hiked and skied on the way back.

Hey y'all, I had labs done at AIS as I was there for a post op check after the 28 IMRTs. T under 10 and PSA dropped again from 5.2 to 3.89💙, but I normally go thru Kaiser and this was Quest Labs. I think Kaiser sends out PSA to another lab. This PSA is the lowest in a year PTH

After spending a large amount of time comparing RP to radiation (using modern IMRT and IGRT), it appears radiation might be a better choice for someone at my stage. At favorable intermediate stage, ADT therapy is not recommended. If it was, I would choose surgery in a heartbeat.

My Thai oncologist ordered 20 rounds of IMRT focussed on my prostate, gave me enough Luprine (Lupron in North America ) for a year and a half of HT shots taken every 3 months. Well, they were finished 9 months ago. I am still at 0.01 PSA and today I had my first orgasm!

Four rounds of Lute and 20 rounds of focused IMRT later I received a year and a halves worth of Lupron and sent home to Canada. I asked what to expect when I finished the HT and he said: "We'll see".

Imrt 20 sessions - Finished 3months ago (kishan-ucla)- Orgovyx 4 months finish tomorrow- Still urinating 5-6 x per night. Still taking flomax and cialis 5 mg every day but no relief. Can I expect to get to 2 urination per night as the "burnt" prostate heals and SHRINKS!

I guess I got caught up with word Survivor - having stage 4 cancer and after 9 weeks of IMRT last year and now entering my second year of ADT, I feel like a Warrior, yes I've survived the treatments so far but this is far from over and it will continue to be a fight for hopefully many many years to come
