Immunotherapy after 4 months has worked other more chemo any suggestions?
I was diagnosed with stage 4 NSC/squamous cell lung cancer in Aug 2016 and treated at Clatterbridge Wirral. I Had 6 cycles of chemotherapy of cisplatin + gemcitabine then 12 days of radiotherapy by end of 2016. Oct2017 started pembrolizumab. Last week told it’s not working. So back to Chemo of Gemcitabine

I'm wondering if you have completed the Lung Cancer Registry Yet?
The link to the registry is https://www.lungcancerregistry.org/ There are two surveys: a general survey and one that focuses on
immunotherapy
. They are quick to take and your privacy is ensured.

Stage 4 adenocarcinom
He had a liquid biopsy and dna sequencing done and was started on 2 chemo drugs and
immunotherapy
(kaytruda). He also has a plural effusion and the lung is collapsed. We were told that the tumors were massive and that it was also in the lining of his lung as well as all the lymph nodes tested.

Protrude and ulcerative colitis
Does anyone have experience with Keytruda or another approved
immunotherapy
and its use in patients who previously have had ulcerative colitis?

Has anyone here had experience with
immunotherapy
. I'm concerned with possible side effects. I've been through surgeries (lobectomy and brain), chemo and radiation so I'm not without treatment experience. The above drug is relatively new so I'm a bit apprehensive. Thank you.

Side effects on Opdivo
He started
immunotherapy
about 4 months ago. Opdivo... since this time he has horrible mouth lesions and numerous skin cancers that have suddenly appeared on his arms, feet, and head. Has anyone else experienced similar side effects?

Update on my dad, stage IV NSCLC, and Help needed
We decided that it might be more devastating to disqualify him from any
immunotherapy
second line clinical trials than to take our chances with Keytruda in first line and have it possibly fail.

Update on my sister's visit with the oncologist today.
All of my sister's markers for the
immunotherapy
came in negative so she is not a candidate for the treatment. There is one additional test to identify the EGFR marker (I guess that's what is called), for the targeted therapy.

CLLSA Response to NHS England Failing to Fund Ibrutinib in line with NICE Guidance
NICE recommends that ibrutinib alone is recommended within its marketing authorisation as an option for treating CLL in adults: who have had at least 1 prior therapy or who have a 17p deletion or TP53 mutation, and in whom chemo-
immunotherapy
is unsuitable and only when the company provides ibrutinib
