I do have a question for caregivers who have significant others that have been through
immunotherapy
.. I do skin checks on Ryan more than I’d like to admit lol.. but mostly for lymph nodes.

What to do next for treatment
The two main options he is talking about include a PARP inhibitor the first one is a UCLA trial in conjunction with
immunotherapy
(Katruda). The other is just the PARP inhibitor.

Next steps -questions on immunotherapy
Scans set for next week and we just met with a doc at Karmonos in Detroit who has several
immunotherapy
trials and is seeing where my husband may benefit most.

Kidney level dropped...anyone else had this?
Has anyone else had this and also how effective can
immunotherapy
be on its own?

Any one experienced with Envita Medical Center
I've been reading the info on the Envita Medical Center in Arizona and they seem to be focused on
immunotherapy
and other individually determined treatments. Any one have any experience with them? Thanks.

Immunotherapy
I just wonder if there’s anyone diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer, has tried the
immunotherapy
. Does it really help? Is it worth to try it? Thank you.

Anyone been given a 2nd go at Immunotherapy?
My husband was given 4 lots of
immunotherapy
as his first line treatment which they stopped & transferred him on to chemo as they said it wasn't working. He had had antibiotics both before & during his treatment & I have read reports that suggest these can inhibit the effectiveness of the immuno.

NEPC Treatment Question
Immunotherapy
is ongoing every 3 weeks. We met with a radiation oncologist back in September and the conversation was geared toward radiation for symptom management.

Very quick update - NEPC
One drug will be a recently approved
immunotherapy
drug and he said it's so new they don't yet know how long remissions can last. I'll be getting a stent in my blocked ureter which should ease my kidney pain, then a port, and then chemo can begin.

Pemetrexed caused kidney injury
My husband had 6 months of
immunotherapy
which didn't work. Then 6 rounds of carboplatin and pemetrexed followed by maintenance pemetrexed. The long term use of the pemetrexed has caused kidney injury (AKI 3). He was hospitalised for 7 days on plasma lyte.
