New kind of CRISPR technology to target RNA, including RNA viruses like coronavirus.
CRISPR-based genetic screens have helped scientists identify genes that are key players in sickle-cell anemia, cancer
immunotherapy
, lung cancer metastasis, and many other diseases. However, these genetic screens are limited in scope: They can only edit or target DNA.

Has anyone tried "Transfer Factor"
Sounds like it's a type of
immunotherapy
that can work for some people: https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-1011/transfer-factor A preliminary report on the use of transfer factor for treating stage D3 hormone-unresponsive metastatic prostate cancer. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/

End of the road 2
I received the news on Thurs that the 6 months of
immunotherapy
I've had hasn't worked - tumors in my lungs have grown and there are 3 spots on my liver. I start chemo on Thurs (1 tablet per week apparently). This will hopefully give me 6 months.

Coronavirus
We do know that covid 19 is primarily affecting the respiratory system, so those that have had lung surgey or lung treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapies and
immunotherapy
and those with lung cancer should think about including themselves in the vulnerable category.

Is it important to have CT scans during chemo/
immunotherapy
? OH wants to cancel in case catches Covid. Is this wise?

Treatment Decision
Before treatment my oncologist said no surgery, but
immunotherapy
was preferred treatment. My PDL-1 tested 0. A thorastic surgeon, pre treatment, said surgery a good option. After much reading I see 3A surgery is a very controversial subject.

Some how a new
immunotherapy
flew RIGHT under my nose.. they are doing clinical trials with Taf/Mek right now. Available in 7 locations. Excepts patients that are wild type as well. If anyone ever comes across new treatments please share. I’m sure all of us would appreciate it!

Seeking guidance
I've no idea whether or not to take a risk and attend my MRI and CT scans scheduled at the hospital for next week, plus I have
immunotherapy
(pertuzumab and trastuzumab/Herceptin) plus denosumab/Prolia scheduled at the hospice this Friday, preceded by bloods at home the day-after-tomorrow, and portacath

After treatment of Lutitium
Then we tried
immunotherapy
didn't work for us. Then estrogen which was a disaster for my husband. And then we knew about lutitium and we were happy to find it in India, of course we pay for it. We did 4 shots. After the first two the PSA has gone dramatically down.

Intro
I’ve been on a number of clinical trials and have been waiting to participate in an
immunotherapy
trial with Olaparib and Keytruda. I had proton therapy as first line treatment but cancer returned 18 months later in 2015.

NEPC Treatment Update
He completed 2 cycles of just
immunotherapy
(tecentriq), when it happened. The cancer grew. New lesion on the liver. New lymph node completely obstructing the right kidney. All previous stable lymph nodes increased in size.

Help with next steps please
I know hospice is around the corner and we are also waiting phone calls on a couple of
immunotherapy
trials. My question is there anything left to try at this point? Our son graduates from high school in four months and my husband would like to be here for this.

Keytruda Immunotherapy Update
After running through pretty much most of the available SOC, I got a Hail Mary with a genetic test indicating I was MSI-H (micro satellite instability high) and thus approved for Pembrolizumab. After 4 cycles (12 weeks) of Pembro (Keytruda) my PSA went from 86 to undetectable: < 0.01. Just started cycle
