Hi, I’ve been treating my prostate cancer since 2012. I’ve been on a number of clinical trials and have been waiting to participate in an immunotherapy trial with Olaparib and Keytruda.

I had proton therapy as first line treatment but cancer returned 18 months later in 2015. Since then I’ve been on a number of trials, And did chemo for a year, but my cancer has morphed to small cell carcinoma to some extent. I’m currently on the CVD regimen. Once the COVID 19 releases its grip on MD Anderson, I should be able to engage with the trial I mentioned earlier.

Despite the cancer’s relentless march into my lymph nodes and a few ribs, I have not struggled with much pain. I’ve fallen a few times and had some rib fractures, but overall I fell pretty blessed that fatigue is usually the biggest problem I deal with.

Thank you much. I think there are far more courageous people on this site than I. I trust in God’s provision and leading in all this. Be blessed!
