Scared of going to hospital for scan
Dear snoopy6691
There have been lots of unexpected changes due to Covid-19 for so many patients awaiting investigations and continuing treatment. It is understandable very frustrating for you and the worry in the delay in having your follow up scan.
It would be a high risk for yourself going into the hospital unless it was absolute necessary and the guidelines are there to protect you and prevent you from potentially becoming seriously unwell with this.
It is understandable very frustrating for you and the worry in delay in having your follow up scan. I have placed some information on these changes from the group of charities called ' one cancer voice' :

phonedMcMillan Nurses and they said that it was protocol and that he did need to attend
So he'll be the one wearing every hat and scarf and gloves he owns.
Have to joke as otherwise we'd cry
Dear snoopy6691
If the hospital have advised then, the scan must be necessary to perhaps assess his next treatment round.
In the link I sent earlier from one cancer voice, it goes over what protective measures your husband can take going for his appointment.
All the very best
