Crossroads ahead
My options are 2 further rounds of chemo or switch to
immunotherapy
every 3 weeks for the next two years. Has anybody experienced having
immunotherapy
over a long period and can give my an idea of the side effects and things to watch out for?

another follow up on my HCC treatment
Hi all, just finished my third round of
immunotherapy
. I tolerated it pretty well. Some side effects are lower GI track discomfort and cramps. Fatigue and joint aches in hands, back, legs and feet. Hoarse voice. And some itching here and there.

Technical terms explanation & treatment
Regarding treatment she is being put on a course of Pembrolizumab
Immunotherapy
every six weeks, starting this Friday. This is exactly three months and one day since urgent referral so is well overdue but she is relieved that at last there will be some treatment.

Tough Questions
He has gone through docetaxal (almost killed him), Lupron, Xtandi, Abiraterone, Xgeva,
immunotherapy
, palliative radiation, and next was going to be cabazitaxal. His labs came back with his platelets at51, too low for treatment.

Chemo/Pluvicto or Clinical Trial?
I started a clinical trial in October at NYU (LAVA 1207
immunotherapy
) and PSA doubled every 2 weeks and is now 2.6. My MO took me off the trial after 4 infusions. MO now recommendschemo first, then Pluvicto.

Referrals have been made to get authorization for treatment (chemo therapy and

I was treated with chemotherapy and
immunotherapy
and responded well. I returned to work in mid-2021. Regular CT and PET scans showed no changes so all was going well.
