Cycle 4, Week 1 Update from OSU Trial
Today, I had blood work and the 4th of 8 obinutuzumab infusions (in addition to continuing to take
ibrutinib
and venetoclax). I am pleased to say I have officially made it through my week over week trips to OSU, and my next 10 visits will be every 4 weeks. I don’t have to go back until October 11.

ASCO 2016: Dr. Susan O’Brien on GDC-0853, a novel BTK inhibitor for CLL
It presents the pre-clinical data for a new molecule, GDC-0853 that has different way to bind to and block the BTK pathway, the same pathway that
ibrutinib
blocks.

Hearing loss
I have had fairly rapid onset hearing loss starting around month 6 of
ibrutinib
treatment, now in my ninth month. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it my 80 years of age?

FCR for IGHV unmutated
Hi, I've pulled the FCR arm in a clinical trial in UK (was hoping for
Ibrutinib
). I've been 5 years w and w and haven't received any treatment. Extreme fatigue and large nodes forcing me into treatment.

Memory loss with Ibrutinib?
I was put on
Ibrutinib
until I was declared in remission in December 2015. Since then I have been made aware of several major changes That occurred in my life during that period of time that I have no recollection .

Cycle 3, Day 1 and 2 of Obin, Ibrutinib, Venetoclax Trial

Untreated Aussies needing treatment - great clinical trial just for you
I just saw Con Tam at the Peter Mac in Melbourne today - I asked him when he thinks the trial of
ibrutinib
plus Venetoclax will open here for CLL patients (it's open for MCL and they're all doing well) and he said it's opening for treatment naieve in 3 months.

Jumping for Joy
Ibrutinib
isn't without its risks, but in my case, I am very happy to be free of the fatigue that I didn't acknowledge was as bad as it was until I didn't have it anymore.

2+ years on Ibrutinib and a question
My early experience with
Ibrutinib
was nothing short of miraculous. The palpable nodes in my neck and axillae shrank dramatically. As expected, my white count rose precipitously, but has gradually declined over the past two years until most recently.

watch & wait - immunizations....how long to treatment ?
Lastly, since I am 11qdel and unmutated my specialist DR Sharman in Oregon says when my time for treatment comes, he'd put me on
Ibrutinib
...from what I've read that sounds like the best choice, does that sound right ?
