Don’t stand so close to me!
I’m a year plus on
Ibrutinib
. They loaded me up with a third round of antibiotics and an IVIG infusion. So hoping I can finally recover and get back to normal. I think bowing at a safe distance is a much better idea than hand shaking - no? https://media.giphy.com/media/hWjyKDWBopz9K/giphy.gif

Hoped It Would Never Come ~ Starting Treatment
O'Brien on March 12 and she will give me the script for
Ibrutinib
. I'm a little emotional right now as I had hoped to put it off as long as possible. My numbers as of yesterday, after only 30 days since last blood draw; off the chart.

Remission with Ibrutinib and Venetoclax
This week marks the sixth period of 28 days with
Ibrutinib
and 4th period combination with Venetoclax of my trial (Vision trial, Netherlands).I officially reached a remission already. Very good results on blood work, almost all normal. I had a succesful coloscopy to exclude any gut nastyness.

IBRUTINIB shorter time treatment - e.g. for one month
Did they ever do a clinical trial on a person taking Ibrutineb for only a month? What if some of us only need to take this drug for a short time. I would like to see stats on this. I want a cure with less toxicity. Can some of us be given a dosage they would give a baby. My body does not like drugs

Starting CAR-T therapy for my relapsing CLL
After a wonderful run of 69 months on
Ibrutinib
, my CLL is now officially relapsing. I am very grateful to Dr. Byrd and the team at Ohio State for their great care over the past 6 years. But it is time to move on.

Severe skin reaction to Ibrutinib (Imbruvica)
Hi My husband is currently on the Flair trial, started June 2016. One month into the trial he got fungal pneumonia, was hospitalised for ten days and very ill. Ibrutanib was suspended for the maximum time, four weeks, that the trial permitted then he was put on a third dose of it ( one tablet) until

Starting Ibrutinib-Or Not?
Hello I'm new to this group. My mom, age 75, was just diagnosed with CLL with 17p deletion. She has no symptoms whatsoever except that her spleen is enlarged apparently. One oncologist wants to put her on IB immediately and but a second doctor thinks she should wait until she shows more symptoms.
