drug holiday
I’m looking for some experiences please about taking an
ibrutinib
holiday. I see there have been some posts about clinical trials either stopping or reducing days it’s taken. I would really appreciate any feed back.

Solutions needed to manage nerve pains ( Post herpetic neuralgia ) after shingles .
Currently on
Ibrutinib
since 5 months now. I had shingles on my left leg about 3 months ago. Was treated with Acyclovir. The sores and blisters have gone but the nerve pains( especially around my knees and thigh) have been hellish.

Ibrutinib stopped working, what’s next
Morning all,a quick recap on journey so far, FCR treatment which kept things at bay for 14 months, then onto
Ibrutinib
for 6 years approximately, currently lymph nodes at 5cm , next treatment starts in January Rituximab and Ventoclax for 2 years, just wondering if there are any alternatives?

Atorvastatin and Ibrutinib?
I asked the group about a month ago if it was OK to take Atorvastatin and
Ibrutinib
, several members came back and said they have been on the combination.

Static trial dilemma
The purpose of this trail is to see if giving patients a drug holiday prevents or reduces resistance to
ibrutinib
. If treatment is needed they return to
ibrutinib
.

Ibrutinib dose reduction
after 5 years on
Ibrutinib
I have higher blood pressure and arthralgia. Will dose reduction to 280 or 140 mg be safe to try before switching to Calquence?

Acalabrutinib v Zanubrutinib side effects
I understand that these results are not the result of a direct comparative study between the two but on studies of each relative to
ibrutinib
, and hence that the results are hypothetical or suggestive rather than definitive, but, faced with this exact choice at the moment, I’d like to know which to go

Largest real world study of acalabrutinib and ibrutinib over 3 years, shows acalabrutinib has improved discontinuation rates
We've had several posts in the last 24 hours about the U.S. government's plans to negotiate a price for
ibrutinib
. I mentioned https://healthunlocked.com/cllsupport/posts/private/149916982/
ibrutinib

Low dose <5mg eliquis
I am also taking
ibrutinib
140 mg which is lowest dose...blood counts are good. I was also diagnosed with afib. I'm wondering if anyone is taking less than 5 mg Eliquis twice daily and if that works? I've talked with a couple friends and they think a half dose of Eliquis may still work okay.

Efficacy and safety of new‑generation BTKis (primarily acalabrutinib and zanubrutinib) in CLL/SLL: a systematic review and meta‑analysis
Based on the results of these studies, zanubrutinib and acalabrutinib are preferred over
ibrutinib
due to their favorable safety profile, and zanubrutinib has superior efficacy compared with
ibrutinib
.

Ibrutinib failure
I know there would be a shelf life for the
Ibrutinib
which I’ve taken since 2019 and the majority of that time on the lowest dosage which seemed to be keeping my bloods in acceptable range. Still it’s been quite a shock, was I getting too complacent? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Nick
