FIBROIDS :( ☹
I've been waiting 5yrs for a
hysterectomy
. But is it dangerous for me or my body for the Fibroids to be bigger. I've also got High Blood Pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, Helicobactor. 😞 ❤

Recently diagnosed, chemo or not?
I had a total
hysterectomy
, lymph glands checked and omentum. They found no cancer elsewhere and claim to have removed it all. But they want me to have chemotherapy anyway and I’m scared and unsure. I have to make my mind up.

I had a full
hysterectomy
2and half years ago, due to fibroids and went straight into the menopause at 50. Weight gain, overhanging belly, hot flushes, aching joints made me feel like an old woman. Most women with a family don't have time to look after themselves - that was me.

Fibroids
So my wife is undergoing test and has been told she needs an urgent
hysterectomy
due to the fibroid being 12cm and the images being inconclusive. We have received a letter today saying that it’s a fibroid but could have sarcoma in it and therefore need to be removed.

Feeling the pain
Last November I had three short courses of Brachytherapy following a
hysterectomy
for womb cancer. I thought all was going okay but began to have rectal bleeding. To cut a long story short I had a flexi-sig and transanal ultrasound done today. For the first time I saw the issues.

About to try Zoladex for pain. Does it work? What can i expect?
Lots of adhesions from surgical procedures including ectopic pregnancy with rupture, tubal ligation gone wrong (subsequent removal of broken tube and clip), cystectomy x2, vaginal
hysterectomy
. 1 week ago confirmed extensive endometriosis. I'm in so much pain and hope this zoladex can help me.

DEXA dilemma
Have been on pred since Nov 17 & DEXA in May 2018 showed I had some osteopenia and mild osteoporosis, but I wasn’t on any vit D or calcium and I’d had a
hysterectomy
induced early menopause and only very short period of HRT.

Mrsa and surgery
So I had my pre op this morning for abdominal
hysterectomy
next Thursday she had asked if I've stayed overnight in hospital recently to which I replied yes 2 days last week before my isolation started she then sent someone to my house with the mrsa body wash and nose solution although I have not tested

Prostap & HRT
She’s happy to keep me on it for five years if it works and then assess for a
hysterectomy
once we’re sure we don’t want any more babies (we defs don’t, one is enough and after some treatment for precancerous cells my chance of late miscarriage and premature birth is too scary!!)

Osteoporosis and HRT can GP force me to come off?
My HRT was changed to estrogen only 2mg in Dec 2019 after a
hysterectomy
and my consultant thought the GP’s would leave that alone but last month she said 6 months more and that’s it.

Hi, I'm new here. I'm awaiting a hysterectomy. How can I get my GP and Gynae consultant to see that all my symptoms link to endometriosis?
I've gone round in circles for years and seemed to get nowhere just more ill health. At this moment I've come the farthermost yet. All symptoms been kept in isolation and unsuccessfully treated. I saw a poster about Endometriosis awareness month and did some research and saw that all the symptoms I have

OVary remnant surgery
Has anyone had ovary remnant syndrome after a full
hysterectomy
? I’m wondering that if a cyst is found can it go away on it’s own? Tia x

Is this too many drugs?! Prostap, Tibilone, Norethisterone, Tranexamic Acid, Mirena Coil
Then I ended up in hospital because I couldn't handle the bleeding anymore, they won't entertain a
hysterectomy
because I'm only 33, despite the fact I have ovarian and cervical cancer in the family. Instead they gave me Prostap injections, 4 weekly, with Tibilone everyday.

Advice please
Because hers was a genetic cancer she also needs a
hysterectomy
but again she has organised nothing. What am I supposed to do, our mam died of BC so surely you would think she wouldn’t want it to end that way.
