HELP desperately needed….. 🤒

new diagnosis: ovarian serous borderline tumour
Going to have full
hysterectomy
including cervix, and the peritoneum at front of bowel to prevent it “seeding”…. she thinks that the surgery will be enough and it’s hopeful I won’t need chemo etc..

after care from doctors here in Scotland
I had ovarian cancer got all the cancer removed

and ovaries taken away I’m 65 this happened 8 years ago got no other treatment as they said it was not required have been Incontinent since then have to wear large pads everyday and big nappy pads at night doctors don’t seem to care but it

However recommended total
hysterectomy
including omentectomy and surgical washout. Not sure if this is debulking surgery or not? How long should I expect to be in hospital for? I’m 54 now and live alone so trying to arrange family to come and stay post surgery.

I've now been referred for a CT chest, abdomen and pelvis with a
hysterectomy

I had a full abdominal

in Oct 2022 I've healed well but I'm now getting the exact same pains as I was before my operations the gynecology discharged me the day I left after my op I don't know wat else to do.

Is anyone positive about prolapse surgery?
I never really had any advice and had vaginal

after my last baby and then another repair 10 years later. For the past 3/4 years have had several pessary fitted some fine and others not. I am now waiting for op , to hopefully sort me out.

Do GPs have ears?
We disagreed that I needed a
hysterectomy
, but the hospital phoned this morning to "book me in". I declined. I was told I could not get T3 results without an Endo appointment, so I agreed. Months later, this came through. Turns out he is a specialist in diabetes.

what benefits would I get giving up work?
I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3 in may 2021 I underwent a
hysterectomy
followed my chemo and in nov 2021 was told I was in remission. I am on PARPS treatment now and when I asked of the chances of the Cancer reoccurring I was told 75%.

progesterone only pill
I’m reluctant for a
hysterectomy
/oopherectomy so was thinking of asking about surgery to unstick everything and excision of cysts and endo cells and then go on the mini pill. What are other’s experiences of this? Any thoughts welcome good and bad. Thanks
