Travel Insurance
My husband has been recently diagnosed with
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
and heart failure. We would still like to take a holiday this year but are finding that travel insurance prices in the mainstream companies are somewhat prohibitive. Can you recommend some companies to try?

Is there such a thing as ‘slow AFib?’
Taunton referred me to Bristol but they were unwilling because I also have
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
and they didn’t have a good success rate for people like me.☹️ I was then referred to St Barts and they have said they’ll give it a go.

Travel Insurance
I am taking a 4-day trip to New York in December for my 60th birthday I have had
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
which has been successfully treated for 4 years, but I am now having tests for typical atrial flutter. I am looking to get travel insurance, is this possible and at what cost?

Still trying to process the news…
Yesterday I was diagnosed with
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
and since then I have just felt sick to my stomach. I now realise why I went into AFib out of the blue in 2020. I have a family history of heart problems and my mum died of cardiomyopathy at just 48.

MRI results yesterday. Anybody in a similar awful position please?
Yesterday I was diagnosed with
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
and since then I have just stayed in my bedroom feeling very queasy. My consultant thinks that this is why my AFib started.
