Breast Cancer Preventive Medicines
Atypical ductal
hyperplasia
. Atypical lobular
hyperplasia
, with involvement of duct. I go next week to consult with an oncologist. Seems they may want me to take meds to prevent cancer. I'm just wondering, from folks that have experience with this, is this a good idea? I am healthy.

Fat malabsorption?
My colonscopy actually showed basal lymphoid
hyperplasia
and I wondered if anyone else had this result? The gastroenterologist who performed the procedure was actually nice and said it's quite common and nothing to worry about. But my small amount of research shows that it can mimck IBS symptoms.

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Estrogen [2] - Discovery of ERbeta.
The number of ERbeta-positive cases declined to 24.2% (38/157) in
hyperplasia
adjacent to carcinoma and 11.3% (18/159) in PCs." Note that it was already known that ERalpha was confined to stromal cells in normal prostates.

How do you and the M.D. decide whether or not your prostate specific antigen PSA tests reflect that a biopsy/cystoscopy is needed?...
when there's also BPH benign prostatic
hyperplasia
. 3T mp MRI 3 Tesla MultiParaMetric Magnetic Resonance Imaging with external coil is less invasive than biopsy/cystoscopy.

PC Biopsy results
Hi Guys, Well finally got my biopsy results last night from the consultant. the initial finding based on DRE and PSA of 4 backed up with MRI showing two large shadows on the prostate, PIRADS score was 4 and so the consultant at that point was saying it all looks like PC albeit still within the prostate

Age when diagnosed.
He said he's 100% sure my symptoms are the Endometrial
hyperplasia
, and he gave me 3 months worth of Provera tablets. When I got home and researched this, I don't think my symptoms match this at all apart from heavy periods. Was any of you ladies diagnosed at a later age?

Endometrial hyperplasia
A little out of the blue I got a call from the medical director at our clinic yesterday who told me that having reviewed my pre-transfer polyp removal report I appear to have endometrial
hyperplasia
. Apparently a benign condition that involves the womb lining thickening / a grouping of cells.

There were no signs of the
hyperplasia
(which any way is treated in first instance with progesterone that I'm already on) so for the moment we are not going to worry about that and will revisit after the pregnancy. So for now it's just hold on and grow grow grow little one!

Mild nodular enlargement of the central gland consistent with benign prostatic
hyperplasia
. As correlated with exam of 03/30/2016, again seen is scattered T2 hypointensities throughout the peripheral zone in both sides, most pronounced from the apex to the mid gland.

Endometrial hyperplasia with complex atypia
Hi, I have been diagnosed with endometrial
hyperplasia
with complex atypia at 49 and am being treated with provera. Having researched this a little it seems that without atypia this is a suitable treatment but that with atypia a hysterectomy is recommended. Can anyone shed any light on this ?

Decreased zinc in the development and progression of malignancy
In addition to citrate, the normal and BPH (benign prostatic
hyperplasia
) prostate also accumulates the highest levels of zinc in the body. As with citrate, in Pca the ability for high zinc accumulation is diminished.

Checking back in to report on this crazy ride...
It was there they discovered that I have PBC and also Nodular Regenerative
Hyperplasia
, a second liver disease. For about 18 months I have been having chronic UTI's and they felt that the constant infections and medications led to the NRH.
