She is currently on 100mg Paraparib which has had an effect on her
haemoglobin
levels but appear to have now settled. Her scan yesterday showed no evidence of disease (thankfully) but her CA 125 is going up and down between 48 and 60.

low haemoglobin.
🎄Happy Christmas every body and a healthier new year. 🎄 I have had pernicious anaemia for over 40 years now. My HB is never more than 9.7. And my other red blood cell results are always slightly abnormal .. The GPs always seem to consider this is to be expected as I have PA. Is this acceptable

Face to face consultation
Today my white cell count is 7,
haemoglobin
down from 125 to 114, hematocrit down from 397 to 356 and platelets from 547 to 478. Should I be concerned? The person to whom I spoke did not offer any advice other than more iron rich foods and rest.

Changing to Momelitinib
My
haemoglobin
is often below 80, and is currently 76. Hopefully the Momelitinib will help raise my blood counts fairly quickly. She did warn me about side effects, nausea, dizziness etc. She was emailing my local haematologist to ask him to prescribe it asap!

Anticoagulant and bleeding - your experience?
His
Haemoglobin
has been in the 95 to 113 range ever since he started Apixaban. His weight is about 59kg. His chadsvasc score is 2. He was on flecanaide but recently he was diagnosed with Heart failure, it appears his AF has become persistent and now he has been put on digoxin.

My partner has had slowly rising
haemoglobin
for about 6 months but it stayed quite borderline. Since Christmas, the hct and rbc have also been elevated. The gp has referred him on the nhs but the appointment wasn’t until August so we decided to go private.

Low platelets
This knocked for six and she has been in hospital with low white blood cells, low
haemoglobin
and has no immune system. I appreciate these are common side effects. As a result, mum has had a blood transfusion and her levels are rising, which is good. However, her platelets are low and reducing.
