Newly diagnosed
I just had a diagnostic laparoscopy on Monday and they found Endometriosis but we're not able to treat it. They have suggested GnRH. I am wondering if anyone has any experience of this and advice to offer? From what I have read, it seems like quite a bit of upheaval with no guarantee that it will work

GnRH injection questions
As I’ve put in past posts, I have a 10cm cyst growing on my right ovary. I’ve been put on a 6 month waiting list for keyhole surgery, but between now and waiting for my surgery my Gynaecologist wants me to start having the GnRH injection. How does this effect you? Will it is cause harm long term when

Can I really rule out PID?
Since then I’ve had the
GNRH
agonist
injection which made my symptoms go crazy for the first 3 weeks but since then I’ve had no pain. Saw a Nook doctor who says there is a ‘reasonable chance’ I have endo and has booked me in for a lap.

New oral GnRH antagonist shows 97% response rate in Phase III trial
It looks like there is a tablet version of GnRH antagonists soon to be approved. This is an alternative to Lupron-class drugs, in tablet form. The trial has show it supresses T levels quicker than Lupron, but the side effect profile is similar: https://investors.myovant.com/news-releases/news-release-details

Update: Experience with Estradiol patches for ADT
I have had in the past (2012) what I consider to be quite terrible side effects from ADT with LHRHa (Eligard similar to Lupron). So recently when I needed to start short-term ADT as adjuvant to pelvic lymph node radiation (IMRT with boost to nodes) I chose to try Estradiol patches. Now 7 weeks in and

Acyline based ADT?
Anyone having experience, or more info, regarding this: "Acyline is a GnRH antagonist available in an oral dosage form, in contrast to current injectable therapies. The advantage of an oral agent would eliminate the inconvenience of injections, avoid injection site reactions, and allow individualized

Can someone explain what my Blood Test Results mean?
In 2018 I got a blood test following a Kallman Syndome diagnosis (age 17 at time of test), but several problems have arrisen since then. After several months I finally got access to the blood test results but its essencially Chinese to me. The Dr told me that testosterone was far below average and I

Conceiving after GNRH and post op
Hello, I had my 2nd stage operation in July to remove the remaining Endo and detach my bowel and my uterus. I’ve been on GNRH to reduce Endo and relieve my symptoms whilst I waited for my 2nd operation. I’m now trying for a baby and just wondered if anyone managed to fall pregnant soon after finishing

Gnrh injection
Hello I'm just after a bit of guidance please. I had my first gnhr injection about a month ago. After about a week I started to feel off colour. I've had palpatations and almost passed out. Headaches, aching muscles and ridiculous tiredness. Is this something anyone else has had or is there something

Monotherapy or ADT3?
Maack says: “ Anyone moved to androgen deprivation therapy, and particularly anyone with already known advanced and metastasized prostate cancer SHOULD NOT be prescribed only a

or antagonist as monotherapy.”

Decapeptyl SR side effects
Because of this we decided to attempt the
GnRH

. I had my decapeptyl monthly injection 5 days ago, and I take add back therapy in the form of tibolone. About 24 hours after it I got an incredible migraine and felt absoloutely awful.

IS LUPRON AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY ?
IS LUPRON AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY IN LOWERING ESTROGEN? GNRH ANALOGUES ARE SYNTHETIC DECAPEPTIDES , SO WONDERING IF IT'S AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY IN LOWERING TESTOSTERONE , ANDROSTENEDIONE AND ESTROGEN ? ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED
