TSH Test 1st Timer
Hi all. Looking for some advice please on these test results. TSH - 7.6 (range 0.35-5.00) and Free T4 - 9.4 (range 9.0-21.0). GP has stated to wait another 3 months and re-test to confirm or exclude hypo diagnosis. Symptoms wise I am constantly lethargic, periods are sparse and very irregular or not

Mental health in T1 diabetes
My partner has been in hospital for many weeks now, and discharge has nearly happened twice but each time he has been kept back. new hypo diagnosis but overheating not cold
I have been unwell for over a year after discovering thyroid nodules which have now become diffuse. My Tsh is High and my T4 low and they have given me a starting dose of 25mg Levo. One of the worst symptoms for me has been an absolute inability to tolerate heat and I'm booking all of the time, but

High TSH on Armour & Liothyronine
Hi all, I just had my recent labs back and my private doctor is concerned about ongoing high TSH levels. I take 2 grains of Armour and 5mcg of Liothyronine daily my FT3 is quite high but it’s my TSH level he’s concerned about at 13 and it’s been high for a while. does anyone have any ideas why this

dads TSH LEVEL
I was chatting to my dad on Sunday and he can access all his blood results. He was telling me they have just reduced his levo from 100mcg a day to 75-100 alternative days. I asked what his TSH was and he said 5.2 (0.2-4.4) he is 82! Can anyone think of a feasible reason they are keeping his TSH so high

I was diagnosed with OP about 10 years ago due to an early menopause at 38 and was put on the weekly medication of Alendronic Acid along with calcichew. Everything was ok until 2021 when I had emergency abdominal surgery, I was in ICU for nine days and my family were told I only had a 30% chance of

Advice after recent blood test results please
I have been taking Levothyroxine for decades but only recently appreciated, after advice from this fabulous website, the correct way to undertake thyroid blood tests. After decades of iron deficiency I had an iron infusion a few months ago (therefore ferritin now high), I inject B12 regularly for Pernicious

How do you come down from the pred high?
I wrote what follows as a response to someone else mentioning the pred high but then realised it should have been a new post. So here it is again, edited and with a heading. I seem to feel hyperactive all the time, at the moment, especially if I do exercises. Last night I went out to the local exercise

Hashimoto’s Dr’s Reply - help needed please
Bloods above - is anyone able to help me with a response to this letter please? I have asked for my levo to be put back up to 150 and they have refused - I have previously posted that I regularly don’t get meds I can take, brands are changed regularly - they often give me meds I have reactions to so

Newly diagnosed
Hey y'all. I was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis, I had an acute attack and was hospitalized for 11 days. I've never had issues before now that I knew of, but upon doing a CAT scan they discovered a 9cm cyst on my pancreas. I don't drink, but I did eat quite poorly unfortunately. I had to wait for

Low TSH
I had a phone call on Friday asking me to come to an Endo appointment this Monday - unusual! It is a year since my last appointment but I suspect my endo has taken fright at my low TSH and will want to discuss stopping my prescription. My latest results were TSH 0.02 (0.35-4.94) Ft4 11.4 (9-19.1)

Progesterone protocol on a natural FET
Hi there, I am currently 8 weeks pregnant after a natural FET. I have been taking Cyclogest 400mg x3 a day and have been told to keep on taking it up to 12 weeks. On my last FET I only took Cyclogest up until my positive pregnancy test but they have put me on it as a precaution as my last pregnancy

Wow the GP experience is real…
I was recently privately diagnosed with autoimmune Hashimoto’s by a (NHS) endocrinologist with autoimmune Hashimoto’s. I was diagnosed via bloods and a scan, and there is a significant family history of Hashimoto’s. There was also a record of increasing TSH etc due to employer health checks. I think

Hi everyone. I am currently in the 2WW after transferring a PGT normal embryo. Had a tiny bit of spotting yesterday (5DP5DT) and felt I must have been out of the game so took a pregnancy test (cheapie) to confirm and wallow in my misery. The spotting happened after 2 long walks and only after checking
