very new to this
My Mum has stage 4 inoperable
glioblastoma
and in the last few days has started suffering from painful thigh muscles and teeth. Is this normal. She’s been taking paracetamol and ibuprofen to help with pain. I want to ask GP for advice tomorrow. Anyone experienced these pains with this cancer.

Glioblastoma and Parkinson's; hereditary?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7468383/ I am wondering if I might have inherited PD because my Mom had
glioblastoma
? Has anyone else had a connection like that?

Advice required
Our son was diagnosed with
glioblastoma
in 2022. After intensive treatment all cleared up but is now back. Tumor was on left side; he can't use his right arm at all, right leg has some movement. His speech is gone except for a few words now and then.

Genetic therapy: for solid malignancy hopefully soon
But the platform is very promising even if clinical use has been approved only for glioma and
glioblastoma
at the moment. But there are clinical trials going on for solid tumors, prostate included. https://www.genenta.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/2020-11_Mazzoleni-Expert-Insight.pdf

I need all the help I can get.
My brother has recently been diagnosed with a
Glioblastoma
grade 4. It's been alot to take in as I'm sure you can all understand. He starts Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy next Monday 22nd July. I have a few questions that I hope can be answered. Firstly I want to say how incredible you all are.

Parkinson's and Mitohormesis - presentation by Dr. Matthew CL Phillips
He is currently conducting a clinical trial in
glioblastoma
, which combines standard treatments with the most intensive fasting and ketogenic diet protocol ever applied to a group of patients with advanced cancer.
Note:
The above link seems to work only for those who registered on time...

Inoperable Glioblastoma
My dad has
glioblastoma
in his left frontal lobe. His right arm/hand is now completely paralysed and his speech is getting poorer every week. It’s taken 5 months to finally start treatment due to stroke misdiagnosis. Due to location they cannot de bulk the tumour.

Dad diagnosed with GBM grade 4
Hi, my dad was diagnosed with a
glioblastoma
about 4 weeks ago. He has gone from being a fairly healthy 58 year old man who travels around the UK and holidays a few times a year abroad to a man who sits on the sofa refusing to go out or do anything.

dealing with loss
We’ve just lost my sister who was 54 to
Glioblastoma
. She was a mum, daughter and sister and a wonderful, loving and rock to us all. Just 5 weeks! How do I and the family cope with this as I do not know where to start? Just thought I’d reach out.

Hope or preparation for death?
My 63 year old mom was diagnosed with
glioblastoma
grade 4, had a successful surgery with 99.99% taken out. On Monday we go to an oncologist who will tell her and my dad what this diagnosis actually means. So far, they know it's "bad news" but they didn't want to read or hear anything about it.

Feeling utterly helpless
Hi, my mum (early 60s) has been diagnosed with
glioblastoma
on her right side of her brain spreading to her corpus callosum. Surgery was considered too risky so we choose radiotherapy and chemo. However, the oncologist is now saying he thinks radiotherapy will do more harm than good.

Any advice apprecaited
My husband was dx with a grade 4
glioblastoma
wild type Feb 2023. Since then the full round of chemo and radiation and 3 five day cycles of TMZ. we started to taper down the steroids to 1 mg but he was sleeping 21 hours a day. His repeat scan showed increased swelling with a midline shift.
