https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7468383/ I am wondering if I might have inherited PD because my Mom had
glioblastoma
? Has anyone else had a connection like that?

Genetic therapy: for solid malignancy hopefully soon
But the platform is very promising even if clinical use has been approved only for glioma and
glioblastoma
at the moment. But there are clinical trials going on for solid tumors, prostate included. https://www.genenta.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/2020-11_Mazzoleni-Expert-Insight.pdf

Inoperable Glioblastoma
My dad has
glioblastoma
in his left frontal lobe. His right arm/hand is now completely paralysed and his speech is getting poorer every week. It’s taken 5 months to finally start treatment due to stroke misdiagnosis. Due to location they cannot de bulk the tumour.

dealing with loss
We’ve just lost my sister who was 54 to
Glioblastoma
. She was a mum, daughter and sister and a wonderful, loving and rock to us all. Just 5 weeks! How do I and the family cope with this as I do not know where to start? Just thought I’d reach out.

Parkinson's and Mitohormesis - presentation by Dr. Matthew CL Phillips
He is currently conducting a clinical trial in
glioblastoma
, which combines standard treatments with the most intensive fasting and ketogenic diet protocol ever applied to a group of patients with advanced cancer.
Note:
The above link seems to work only for those who registered on time...

Feeling utterly helpless
Hi, my mum (early 60s) has been diagnosed with
glioblastoma
on her right side of her brain spreading to her corpus callosum. Surgery was considered too risky so we choose radiotherapy and chemo. However, the oncologist is now saying he thinks radiotherapy will do more harm than good.

Any advice apprecaited
My husband was dx with a grade 4
glioblastoma
wild type Feb 2023. Since then the full round of chemo and radiation and 3 five day cycles of TMZ. we started to taper down the steroids to 1 mg but he was sleeping 21 hours a day. His repeat scan showed increased swelling with a midline shift.

Hello everyone
I was the main carer for my best friend who was diagnosed and died of
glioblastoma
multiforme. He died in March. Also this year, I have changed job which did not work out and I decided to resign during probation, and just started my new job Monday. I am in a highly stressful profession.

Anyone else being seen at Royal Marsden Sutton?
My husband developed a
glioblastoma
very suddenly 2 yrs ago and died within 3 months. Still coping with the aftermath. My own PMF is pretty stable and being controlled with ruxolitinib and transfusions. Counts look OK, but I feel fatigued a lot of the time.

Looking for support - glioblastoma
Hi, My 72 year old wife was recently diagnosed with a grade 4 glioma /
glioblastoma
. Short history is one hospital wanted to dive right in and do surgery. A 2nd opinion initially ruled it as inoperable after a biopsy.

I met a leading oncology researcher whose brother-in-law had just being diagnosed with
glioblastoma
. When I asked him about 'alternative' treatments, he said, 'It's funny, I used to tell people that was all quackery.

. So I have two different types of cancer.

“We’ll draw conclusions from that experiment and get back to clinical trials in 2025 to test it out on a brain affected by
glioblastoma
[a form of an aggressive brain tumor]. In this case, we will be adding medication.”
