I’m confused
So I posted before last year as had been having chest pain and pain in my left shoulder and arm which woke me from sleep on several occasions. I was referred to chest pain clinic at local hospital and tests and scans has revealed a considerable blockage in LAD. I went for angioplasty and they concluded

Does Anyone Feel?
I am wondering if its possible to feel as well on thyroid replacement as I did pre hypothyroid. Just for background looking back 4 years ago I felt really fit and healthy, had plenty of energy, was going to the gym. Then the pandemic hit and my gym closed down and went bust. In June 2020 I finally started

Rux and IFN combo therapy
This recent report points to benefits of combining Rux and IFN. Of particular interest is the low doses that were enabled toward the end. -Notable: "The JAK2V617F allele burden was significantly reduced 3 months after the start of treatment, and continued to decline from a median of 47% to 6%." In

Severe cramps and ADT
I have led a very active life running long distance races and long bike rides. So I’m used to getting some moderate leg cramps after a long workout. I’ve been able to minimize them by taking electrolyte drinks. Once I started ADT (Lupron, abiraterone, prednisone), I started getting severe leg cramps

Options for Recurrent PCa w/ RT Initial Therapy
Looking for options with intent to cure if recurrence is limited to prostate only, pending PET-PSMA. Have read about these options: Prostatectomy/Brachytherapy/Cystoprostatectomy/Cryotherapy Anybody have any knowledge or studies that might suggest a direction? Still hoping for the possibility

Levothyroxine and Menopause
Hi all, I had thyroid cancer many years ago and had a thyroidectomy. I’ve been on levothyroxine for 21 years. I’m in my early 50’s and menopausal. I’ve started HRT which still needs to adjusted BUT the Endocrinologist is lowering my levothyroxine. I exercise regularly and have a very physical job

Best HRT for...
I have just gone through actual menopause and have had a number of symptoms creep into my life steadily over the past 10 odd years. To help manage them and minimise risk of CVD, Type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, etc., I am going to embrace HRT and, fingers crossed, get a bit of 'me' back.I know there are

So frustrated that endo told me my hypo symptoms are social, emotional and psychological
After 11 months I finally saw an endocrinology registrar to go over my blood test results and symptoms. I am on 150mcg thyroxine and 40mcg of liothyronine, after 7 years on NDT which I came off in January 2021 to return to the 'NHS way' of T4-only therapy (the price of NDT was becoming prohibitive plus

Should I have RT, given the possible permanent SEs
I had an RP in 2015, and was clear until diagnosed in Dec 2022 with metastatic Pc, PSA .61. Started Bicalutamide and have had 2 Zoladex injections . PSA is now.01. My OC now wants to start RT with 33 sessions. I want to know if I can avoid RT altogether, because of the damage and side effects that might

My blood work is in the low end of normal, but now I will be seeing an endocrinologist next week. I am menopausal and

Another Cialis Question
I think this is in my profile, but: Gleason 8 (4+4), RP done 5/2022 showed ECE and a positive lymph node. PSA rising by 6 weeks post-op. ADT started 8/2022 and he had radiation 9-11/2022. After some ups and downs with his liver values, he is currently taking Orgovyx, Abiraterone, and Prednisone. PSA

Greetings to you all. I have a question about light therapy. What is the latest research showing? I’m a little overwhelmed by the number of different devices out there, and particularly the different frequencies that are being recommended… 810, 1070, blue light… etc! Can anybody give me some advice
