Week 6 Run 3 Slow but enjoying it!
I have just finished my week 6/run 3. A 25 minute jog without stopping. I still can’t believe it! I have definitely found keeping to a routine has worked for me. My Dad has been my inspiration. He has Alzheimer’s, and running was one of his loves. I keep him up to date when I’ve done a long run. My

***Scans are back***
Good morning my Brothers, I just got back my six month scans CT And Full body bone scan results back. It's been a five year ride of emotions for me and my family for sure. The great news is I've been 0.1 PSA since year one and continue to be that. My CT scans show no progression to any vital organs

Get a bone density test if you have PC and are taking Abiraterone etc
A bone density test is painless and quick and can see signs well before osterporesis
fractures
etc. I'm on 5 months of ADT (Firmagon first, RT with Lupron, then after RT added Abiraterone plus Prednisone.) GLTA

Denosomab and Dental Treatment
I was prescribed Denosumab injections after osteoporosis
fractures
in my lumbar spine. The first injection was July 2022 and given by a nurse in the Rheumatology department. I was warned at the time that should I need invasive dental treatment (eg: extractions) I would be referred to a hospital.

Taxotere vs Zytiga
Hi Again Brothers, Thanks all for tour contributions when I was experiencing Provenge side effects. My fever broke early Sunday morning! On to my new question, when I saw my MO last week, we discussed me going on Taxotere/Docetaxel. Later that afternoon my MO called me and said I did well on Erleada

clothes for kyphosis….
After several spinal
fractures
and a loss of 4 inches in height I have kyphosis and the dreaded osteo tummy. Finding clothes that fit well is so frustrating. I’m not an ‘old’ lady so want to look fashionable. Please don’t direct me to the woman at ROS who gives tips as I’ve not found them useful.

OUR NEXT STEP
Hello friends. We went to the radiologist yesterday. My husband will be getting an MRI with contrast. With that, he said he would be able to see anything going on with the lungs. Dr has also ordered Xtandi and the Lupron shot after radiation if it doesn't completely work. They have decided to do five

QoL and personal decision-making
He will get medical care for things like
fractures
and pain but will not get heart surgery or chemo or ..... He is not suggesting in any form or fashion that anyone else should follow his philosophy about QoL and therapy. He just describes how and why he came to the decisions he has.

PIP DOWNGRADED ME BACK TO STANDARD ON BOTH
Fractures
Mt back L4-L5 in July 2022 and my right femur at the top in July 2022. I have a titanium rod inserted into my right leg from my knee upwards and screwed into my right hip. I'm in pain and have problems with my right leg. Still using a crutch.

Bone Health issues re:Bisphosphonnates, etc. ????
My backstory is that I'm suffering from osteoprosis that has caused four compression
fractures
at L1, L2, L3 & L4 and at T11 in my spine. These were discovered following SRT during an MRI because of spinal pain.

Another update
I have a permanent spinal
fractures
and take morphine and Paracetamol as and when at home. Staff would always refuse to give pain relief, only docs can prescribe it. I could have walked across the road and bought things that were denied in hospital.

Orgovyx-- need info/experiences
Well, my PSAs have started rising. I have one more late next week. In the past, Lupron/Casodex has successful knocked the snot out of my PSA's. Dr. Lam has suggested that I do Orgovyx next time. I have a video chat with him on the 16th. Barring a pleasant PSA surprise I will need to start it PDQ*!!

Coughing is painful, having 4 spinal
fractures
in April. I’ve now been asked to change to zolondronic acid, yearly infusion. This is NOT the same as denusomab. is anyone on zolondronic acid, and if so, how have you found it, please?

Zytiga and Xtandi
I am not tolerating Zytiga well at the moment because of high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat and possible Atrial Fibrillation. I have a clinic meeting coming up shortly and am looking at alternatives so that I can speak to my oncologist with some understanding of the possibilities available. I

Exercise query
I've had no
fractures
. My diet is good and I exercise. The consultant I had today said as I'm not tolerating the medication and ranges are low recommends I only take the Vit D/calcium tablets for 3 years. Ince I reach this point have another scan and go from here. Sounds good to me.
