Fostair and sunlight rash
Has anyone else using
Fostair
experienced a sudden bright red itchy rash on the skin when the skin is exposed to sunlight? Just a few minutes in the garden makes it happen. The start of it coincided with me beginning to use

Hi
I had my meds tweaked & was changed from Seretide to
Fostair
, which I never really got on with. I am recovering from ??covid symptoms (never been tested so don’t know) & developed a secondary chest infection. I have been googling Seretide v
Fostair
which led me to this group.

Thrush after using inhalers.
I use
fostair
100/6, plus salbutamol as an reliever. I do rinse my mouth thoroughly with water, after using my inhaler. Can I buy Over the counter medication, or will I have to see my go. Thanks.

Fostair - headaches?
This year is extremely bad and was prescribed
fostair
instead of Clenil to be used with Ventolin. I’ve been using
Fostair
for 3 days and have experienced a bad headache for most of that time, also tight chested a lot of the time and using Ventolin upto 3 times a day also.

Stopped smoking, my asthma a nightmare
I was just given
fostair
200/6 inhaler to be taken twice a day......two puffs in the morning two puffs before sleeping ( and I have been taking it since I had it prescribed ), I still have asthma at night which wakes me up ..let's say 4 times a week.....but this used to happen even when I used to smoke

When infected to what degree is the level of infection the key factor in survival compared to the level of asthma?
I class my asthma as mild - although I'm on
Fostair
I hardly ever need my reliever - although I'm concerned that any level of asthma means even a mild level infection might be hard to survive.

Should I be shielding ?
I am on
fostair
NEXThaler, ventolin and montelukast for my asthma. I spoke to asthma UK who said I should be shielding and to ring my consultant but he said no. I am really worried about the Coronavirus like everyone is. I am a single mum of two so I am so worried about going out etc.

Fostair Dosage
Hi - what is considered a high dose of
Fostair
? I take four puffs a day of the 100mcg/6mcg inhaler ... is that low, medium or a high dose? Thanks in advance .... question related to whether I have to isolate for 12 weeks due to Covid19.

Flutiform Inhaler
I spoke to an Asthma UK nurse who was most helpful and said that it may be better to try a PDI inhaler like Flutiform or
Fostair
although she though that there were supply problems with
Fostair
. Can anyone give me feedback on the Flutiform inhaler if possible please.
